If I had a stupid ignorant Arabs millions, I would spend a lot of money to have JMJ play again, and just let him do the music. I also would bring Vanghelis
i remember when i 1-st heard this track - it was on a live i saw on TV - had no idea whats the track's name and i was lookin for it for a long long time without even knowing WTF am i looking for. Beautiful track !!!!
I got the 7-13 album when I was in Grade 9 or 10, so around 12 years ago. I'd heard of JMJ long before that (thanks to a Stoddard kid's book on music I got that mentioned him as the first person to compose a symphony entirely by synthesis) but had never heard his music until I saw a clip of the vid for Oxygène 8 on Muchmusic back in '97 when the album first came out.
I bought this when it came out, my senior year in high school. I still have it. God I can remember sitting around stoned as hell listening to this...lol Outgrew the weed but not the music...never the music. It goes on forever...
Yeah! Agreed! The music has been with me for many years as i outgrew other stuff!! I'm not an adult so i have outgrown ALOT the last couple of years! Im 15 now :)
Gracias!!!

This album was great from start to finish, but this track in particular was my favourite. :-D Makes me wanna boogie down.
4:51-4:52 reminded me of the sound made when Mega Man exploded in the early games of that VG series XD

30+ years for me since Oxygen 1 and my father pumping Jarre magic into my ears when I was 1.

@SROpriest: Ya I could see that working when someone's on something. But it's good for you that you gave up that crap and still enjoyed this music.

Ha! Scratch my post on Oxygene 10, there. THIS, by far, was my favorite song on this album.
Great stuff, man! Really! :)
