A hoops house made with PVC pipe bent over your garden and plastic sheeting is an affordable way to go. I have instructions on my website and more videos too. I will email you with the details. GARDEN BLESSINGS, GAiL
well, i wish i was in florida.... but naww... october in ohio..... ohio is still bipolar. lol but i grew alot of cool new stuff this year, like a weeping juniper, and a yucca rostrata. but i am going to a tecgh school for landscaping adn lanscape management. the school is complete with a 2000 square foot greenhouse, a goulf course, nature trail, and like 20 acers of land.... just the place i would like to be untill i can get my freezing butt out of here, and down to the tropics:)
we had a surprize frost on the 1st :( usually we have another 20 days before it frosts... and that greenhouse would have come in handy....... Great video Gail:)
What zone are you in? I live in zone 5 Pennsylvania, and I still can't over winter pond plants except for my lilies. I sink them to the bottom of the pond. All the rest are so nice I hate to se them die. It gets expensive too.
This greenhouse is up against the house right next to my dryer vent. Phase 2 will be to build a wood heater. This is something that will work out great for you! Tell me more about your plants. Maybe I can help them last this time around! :-) GAiL

Aren't you in Florida now? That's wild! Next spring I will have the best looking bananas in town! They will be protected from the wind and cold!
