It was that slow start time because it has to start with 2 sims and not one.

Yes, it is. But the phone, in general, is fast.

slow start up is not really so bad since you dont have to switch it on and off everytime. the question is how fast is the menu response time thats what matters most. it still looks good though.

It's worth noting though that the D880 Duos will take a little longer since it has 2 SIM cards and needs to register on 2 networks. The fact that each SIM card has its own pin further slows down the startup.
