@valtonwilson I can see why some people would not like the look of the new game. I wasn't too big on the way the Sims looked in the game either. The limitations in creating your Sims bugged me as well.

No its just a regular outfit. I get told that a lot that it looks like a nurses outfit or medical scrubs. Too bad I'm the last person you want on staff at a hospital, I'm terrible with that sort of thing XD

Ive never experienced one of those glitches and Ive had the game since launch the only one glitch Ive experienced is once i sent my Sim to watch TV on the bed once he got there he was stuck (by the way i installed late night with ease and my computer is crap)

Sims 2 is way better. I was playing the Sims 3 a few months ago and it CRASHED. Nothing at all happened, I was just playing and it CRASHED!?!?!?

It's actually a pretty good game. The glitches happen from time to time. The thing that disappointed was the fact that it appears as if some of the body parts were detached. My game doesn't crash though. I'll just stick with the Sims 2.

In fact its running worse then when I made this rant...it stopped recognizing the disc so I had to download the digital copy, it crashes almost immediately when I try to play it or it works for a bit before it blue screens. I have more then what the game is asking for in terms of requirements. By all accounts it should be working just fine but it won't.

@AdminKinto Yeah I kept the disc. A lot of people seem to have problems with this game. Those with barely what the games is asking for in terms of requirements oddly enough are the ones having very little problem running the game.

I have to eventually find time...and the patience to call up costumer service for the game and ask for help. I hate calling the costumer service for something I need help with...you either get someone who will help...or someone who won't and will give you a headache.

I wish I could upgrade my laptop. You know just send it in and tell them to upgrade everything in it. But with it being three years old most of the up to date stuff might not work with it or might not be able to be installed.

Had to manually follow a fan-site to remove securom malware, took about a little over a week to figure out, computer works much better now) -Online Advertisements. -Tons of performance issues. Have a great computer, completely up to date. -Crashes mostly on load screen, 10-50 minutes crashes during gameplay. Hacked version of TS3: +No Securom! +No ads. +Performance issues are now minimal. -Only crashes at main load screen.

I know how you feel, I got the sims 3 at midnight when it first came out. And I can't even play it without it shutting off or freezing, or start doing all these werid glitches and bugs. Last month my cousin got the sims 3 and it had a few bugs in it but somehow she got it working right. So I am debating on even getting a new one and see if it works or just sticking with the sims 2......

@NOOBNUT08 Thats not it either. I tried turning all the graphics for the game down to as low as it could go. And it stilled crashed. I also tried switching it from full screen to normal but after that it refused to run at all. Now I have the digital version you can download right from the EA manger that comes with installing the game and it crashes before it even gets all the way past the loading screen.

I just started playing the game today. and one problem 1 had was that it kept freezing. then the screen would turn Black and the game would stut off and say something that i dont understand. that just made me mad. I just hope that thats the only problem i ever have.

I checked that, I did a full scan of my computer for viruses and nothing came up.

I also cleared out stuff I didn't need before installing it to make sure there was enough room.

TOTALLY agreed... SO many dumbass glitches and buggs its retarded... and tell me WHY the fuck they released a expansion pack that messes up the game...

AND THEN.. they release an update fuckin up the video card...so the game doesn't even load because the video card crashes the game...

I play it on my mac and I've never had any problems with the game. Wierd. SOme people have maor problems and some people have none. It seems to vary from individual computer to computer.

I think your being totally oversensitive about a game tbh. Most people don't see it as a vendetta against them. When I first got the game my computer was taken to a shop to get fixed (It crashd cuz I used it waaaaaay too much)

So I used my dad's laptop. It was had glitches like they could only be skinny, those lines, it doesn't show the belly when ur pregnant ect. But it runed perfectly smooth.

When I got my laptop back, nothing was wrong with the game. I won't say "Maybe it's just ur computer" Cause I have no right or knowledge of that.

Sims 3 is an awesome game but the game is as glitchy as a beta version. The only THING I SAW THAT WAS MORE GLITCHY WAS FOOK 2 for Fallout 3

But did you turn down the graphics? Your computer may have all the requirements but the graphics level could be set higher than the requirements. Many games can be set to a higher level of graphics, and are set at the highest level when starting, and may not work at the begining. I am not a pc gamer, but the experiance i do have, points to graphics that is to high.

The turned the games graphics down day one I got the game since they said to do that on the forums. The graphics are at their lowest settings and I still have these problems.

Hmmm the stretched pixellation could be caused by an error with your graphics card, or an error with the drivers. It doesn't sound like an error with the game itself. I've had problems with graphic cards doing that in the past - glitchy as the game may be, that sounds like its more related to your graphics card than the game. My advice? Take it to the shop where you bought it and ask a professional. It may be the drivers, or it may be the card itself. :)

The Sims and Sims 2 are good, its just Sims 3 thats terrible and glitchy with a lot of people.

There's so much wrong with Sims 3 I couldn't fit everything in or I'd be going on for possibly five videos instead of two so I narrowed everything down to the most common problems I heard about from other Sims 3 players along with problems I had.

My sims 3 runs fine, only when I want to scroll across screen or use tools that it starts to slow down and get glitchy. I'm really sorry to hear how its working for you...but I wont lie I havent played it as much as I would like because of the slow frame rates. Hope the game problems fix soon for you Colhan.

My Sims 2 was also very glitchy and crashed a lot. But my Sims 3 crashes whenever I create a family and move them into a house lot. It annoys me so much that I don't even play it anymore.
