I got a Gascan tranparant bluish/green with transparant lenses on prescription from a Oakley store(imfromAmsterdam)and mine doesnt have a serial nr,but my gascan is 100%real,also got a very small O printed on the lens in the corner(customized)I paid 345euros for it thats like 460 us dollars.(including the prescription lenses)I think I didnt got the serial number because the frame is transparant or maybe because its customized.I've seen more custom (real)oakleys without THEnumber.
on the left arm of my (bought at oakley store) matte black canteens it says
12-893 60 O 14 in white silkscreened leters not MPH if that helps at all. the right arm does say Made in U.S.A and CE. embossed into the plastic though
Is the ear sock kind of a sticky rubber? Or is it more of a hard plastic? If it has a sticky kind of rubber feel, they are real. Fakes just throw on hard plastic instead of the quality rubber.

They look real. I have the brown smoke ones, and they look exactly like those. Like others have said, the arm snapping is a key feature, and the little indent on the nose bridge inside the frame is also key. I know that's a small detail, but a lot of Oakley's have a pretty deep indent, while fake ones have a small dip. Just take them to a store and compare (if they even have any...)
at first glance they looked fake but the way the arm 'pop' into place when you open them is a characteristic of real ones. oakley lenses are not supposed to distort your view but then again a camera will try to adjust focus and that can make it blurry..some people also complain that polarized lenses distort their view. another real characteristic is the 'Made in USA' is not screen printed on its molded into the plastic. Either way theyre pretty nice
@bonerjamsandredhams you should also be able to tell by the material of the plastic and ear socks. if its not a good weight and feels flimsy theyre fake. if the ear socks are thin and plastic like instead of thick grippy rubber, theyre definitely fake

dude, regarding the distortion of the blinds, the lines seems to be distorted because yor looking at them on a different angle on the shades, remember on the HDO and laser test on oakley, the angle of the lens is directly parallel to the chart, when you look at the lens on a different angle the image will be distorted, remember that when you are wearing oakley the angle of your eye is fixed on a certain angle,right?, but dude the label on the box of your Oakley is weird though.
okay, seriosuly if you see something on ebay that looks like its a GREAT deal and your like wow thats cheap... its obviously too good to be true, nobody is going to sell REAL oakleys for like 1/2 or a 1/3 of the price it just logically doesn't make any sense... lets get real here if you want some real oakleys come up with the cash and buy them from an official "oakley store"!

its authentic brother...some oakleys doesnt have any sytle number or identification number specially if its already an obsolete style. you can also see if its fake by checking on the hinges. usual fakes are very roughly done or finished. better yet, have an oakley dealer check it.
Well, they look well made...70$ on ebsy...don't be affraid...sometimes it happens....two months ago i bought a pair of Oakley Zeros on Amazon...25$...and they were real!!!!
The canteen model was made before Oakley even started to put serial numbers on there sunglasses,discontinued
