  • Doberman: don't don't take my food george this is mine

    Little boy; oooooo look food!

Doberman: don't get me mad I said stop

  • My own mother was attacked by a dog that was eating so I made sure to train my dog the moment we had him home to always accept people around his food. Never had a problem.

  • poor dobie. hes trying to get the food from babies hand and baby is like... no

  • lol typical dobie, best babysitters ,even if the baby might starve em lol

  • if the dog attack i will laugh

  • always had dogs my whole life and a variety of breeds..

any member of the immediate family "pack" could do this with any of our dogs....because the dog always knew its place in the "pack".

  • thats chuck Norris grandson!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's how my dobie was my two year old cousin could walk up to her take food out of her mouth and make her sit and leave a treat on her nose til my cousin said take it my dobie was the best R.I.P Dax miss you babygirl

  • My dobe is the sweetest girl! She loves us so much! She is always kind and loving towards my kids. Our Chihuahua is sweet too, but she will act like she wants to tear up the bigger dogs! I swear I hear the big ones laugh at her! LOL Our Shepherd is just the sweetest boy ever too! Wouldn't hurt us for nothing! But if you are a bad guy...... beware! They will both tear you up!

  • My Shepherd is the same way :)

My 12m old plays with his food while he eats and his tails just wags and wags. She'll take it out of the bowl and feed it to him. He'll take it from her hand, very gently, the lick her face as if to say "Thank You!"

Dogs that are treated right and very loved act this way.. :)

  • "This is my Doberman Candy" -The Ringer

  • What a beautiful dog you have.

  • haha adorable !!!

  • Lol i know. The big dogs get the bad rap. BUt they are all just big babies. The little dogs have small man syndrome and nine times out of ten are always spoiled (most likely because of the type of people who buy them and keep them in the purses like little show toys.) My pit is the sweetest thing ever but everytime she sees one of those little dogs they always start yapping like crazy and trying to snip at her. She ends that crap real fast.

  • Good dog! Very good dog....

  • Omg, is this safe?

  • the only dogs that have ever bit me have been demonic little unsocialized chihuahuas

  • @keyofdavid888 I AGREE!!!!!!!

Evil little shits they are!!!!! I have a miniature pinscher and a boston terrier along with my German Shepherd and they are just as wonderful as my big guy. Wouldn't hurt a fly!

But some? My goodness, I've seen some of the tiniest things make some AWFUL wounds!!!

  • i cant stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha! J'ai à 0:02!

  • what a great moment between family members :^)

  • I fear no dogs and never have, though I know how to respect them- the bigger they are the more I love 'em too. I have an enduring scar that shows when I smile; the result of a tiny terrier attacking me when I was barely a year old. I would trust a properly raised family Doberman a hell of a lot more than I'd trust a pampered little fluffball around children. I'd happily trust that dog.

  • umm r u in cidnys family and is that audree ?!

  • 0:16 Dog: "If I bite him I might get euthanized"

  • вы что собаку голодом морите??7уждасс!какая дохлая!! бедная собачка!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great dog. having fun. imagine if a chihuahua bit that baby in the face. ppl would say "ok ok, scary little dog".

    stereotypes. love dobermans.

  • any breed of dog can be a good family pet it's how they are raised and taught just like our children.. but it is true that dogs, and cats alike will defend themselves if they feel the need to do so and same goes for the human race

  • dog needs a cheese burger

  • the dog is so skinny :(

  • dogs mind: hmmm, he sure does look delicious. he could gain a few pounds though... perhaps if i share my food with him he'll grow.

  • ahh my girlfriends German Shepherd lets us get around us when he eats, i even stick my head by the bowl and he just waits, i even drink his water, he just tilts his head and waits, thing is, he is about 10 years old, and no1 ever did that until i came around 2 years ago xDD

  • If you are not a little baby, don't try to take dog food.

  • good video. Well trained. I have posted a response video of my Daughter doing the very same thing!!

  • that baby needs to learn to share. good dog though

  • haha what a sticky :D

  • OMG the dog is so beautiful :o <33

  • It scares me a bit though...he can be as well dressed as you want, it's still an animal, his wild instinct can still appears, especially in a moment like this...it's about food, even a human being wouldn't like that much someone who takes the food of his plate, so what about a dog...

  • @P0lskaya Rubbish. A well trained dog is much more trustwothy than any human. If you are still unsure please look at my videos of my daughter and my Doberman, they are best friends.

  • My dog would have taken a piss on the kid already..

  • excelent work !! beautiful baby and handsome dog !!!

  • The doberman is probably thinking "Bitch give me back my food"

  • Being bred is only half the issue, socialization and training is a bigger problem. My dogs will tolerate anything...but it's my job to make sure they don't have to.

  • @Standuntilyoudie i agree. a good dog comes from a good trainer.

  • I miss my doberman. I found them to be loving and protective pets . this is a great example of how they behave if they have good genes and an intellegent owner. I wish i had another.

  • Any breed is a great family dog as long as they are bred properly AND train and socialized properly and children or any one else in the home mistreats the dog.

  • I thought dobermans don't like children

  • That's great. I love how this one wants the one piece of food she has but then he's like - oh yea - I have like 20 more in my bowl.

  • WTF i know that he bites everyone who touch his food but he dont bite the little baby very smart dog

  • What bite? I see nor hear nothing.

  • i think the temperament is CRUCIAL!!!

  • awesome video!!!

  • perfect! thats how a big protective dog should be with his family!

  • I LOVE Dobermans! <3 So sweet.

  • noticed the way the dog looked at the baby when she said uh-oh? that's how a human mother would look at their own child.. with gentleness..

  • This is my interpretation

0:07 *baby drops some food in the bowl while still holding some*

0:10 *dog notices* Dog: Are you giving me...

0:12 Baby: Nuh uh! *turns away*

0:15 Dog: Oh ok... you must be eating it?... or not... ok I'm confused...

0:19 Dog: Anyway! *starts eating again*

0:22 Baby: Here! Dog: *sniffs briefly* Oh no I'm not falling for that again *continues eating*

  • 0:17 "whats that?....oh whatever" nom nom nom nom

  • This is when you know u've done something right with ur dog ...when a dog lets a baby touch his cup/food without gettin pissed u kno u've done something right :)

  • Comment removed

  • @BigTravGill incorrect this is the way to make sure there is not food aggression. This teaches the dog it's place in a pack and that place is always below humans.

  • @familydobes stfu and let suck ur dick from a doberman dipshit!

  • @familydobes Should sometimes be above humans though.

  • @niterainbow47 I know where you're coming from but you're both wrong. They should be neither above nor below

  • @BigTravGill If the dog growls when you approach his food he is challenging your position within the pack and you need to step up and assert your position as leader and keep the dog at the bottom. I thought this shit was dog ownership 101. No wonder there are hundreds of dog attacks each year.

  • Beautiful doberman and very nicely behaved~ My own 1 1/2 year old rescue is sweet but I don't know if she'd tolerate this~ Well done in breeding such an excellent specimen.

  • @EldoVlore15

hope your not proud of that... Hope you aint one of "those" owners who got their dog as a plaything, to show to the friends and feel cool about it kinda thing... :<

  • @EldoVlore15 So what youre saying is that you have no control over your dog... Another dumbass pitbull owner...

  • My black lab is the same way...neat to see a dog raised like he should be! Cool video

  • @EldoVlore15 Sounds like the pitbull either needs better socialization and training, or you need to make sure to keep it away from kids.

  • @familydobes yup.. i agree there. People dont understand Pits are not suppose to be human aggressive. In fact, when they were fighting them in pits, they had the 2 dogs and the owners in the pit . If the dog showed any aggressiveness to humans, the dog was shot. My pit, would sit and a girlfriend's 3 year old kid could hand feed it. It was actually funny seeing the dog trying to be so gentle. It looked like he was using his lips to initially grab it.

  • @familydobes I think maybe EldoViore15 needs more socialization and training..

  • That's a very well trained dog :).

  • Good dog :)

  • THE HORROR!!! Letting that poor dobbie get robbed of his nibblets!

  • i like the part when the doberman tilted his head and thought, yes u can have some :)

  • My parents used to have dobies. I want to get one some day when I live on my own and have my own house.

  • dobies are very sweet by nature...it just depends on the breeder and traning before adulthood...

  • Good looking dog.

  • lol i love how the dog tilted his head like it was thinkin um ok

  • child being dobermans food

  • Heartstopping. I have seen videos like this before. While I understand that your pros this example seems risky. Isnt there still a small chance that the dog could snap? At the end of the day these are animals and not stuffed toys.

  • @CatpurrRobertaBobbi i'm actually more worried about the baby hurting the dog in an attempt to play or just because they're clumsy...

  • Cute dobie.

  • That dog was very well trained! Some dogs would have quickly snapped at the child around their food. Of course that behavior is totally unacceptable. Nice work with that Doberman!

  • haha

  • 0:15 - 0:19 dog-put that back

    baby-noo!

    dog- *turns head side ways*

    what the fuck?!? >:{}

  • @metyshy then it sayz oh well nd starts back eating lol

  • My Dobermans 11 now shes really old.

  • where's your breeding program???? im looking for my first dobie

  • @PKtraceur93 you can find our website in the video description

  • @familydobes thanks =] gorgeous dog so majestic and sweet but so fierce and determined at the same time i can't find a more perfect dog

  • @familydobes nice dog :D i like how he looks and spins his head a bit after the baby says UH-UH ( like NO NO ) ! :D

  • @PKtraceur93 I have gotten champion bloodline dobermans from kimbertaw kennels but they are expensive

  • @mgzt190plus I agree that they must be well trained but cant you see that the baby is already training the dobie.

  • Dobermans are the most loyal dogs I have ever had. I feel bad for all of the people that think they are an aggressive attack dog that will turn on people. They have no idea what a great member of the family they are. The dogs that turn on people, what ever breed it may be, did so because of the poor living conditions and/or care that is given to the dog by the owner. It isn't the dog it is the owner and if you can not understand that you dont deserve to own any dog!!!

  • i like doby so much!!!

but i live in a apartment, and my parents dont let me buy a doberman..

    sorry for my english:D

  • @den3117 umm no. i've trained my dobie to never be possessive over food or toys. she's never "switched" on me or anyone else

  • Our doberman had a beautiful nature and she was a pleasure to have in the home. She just got on better with humans than other dogs. Because she hadn't been socialised with other dogs, she used to get rather excited and then start to get aggressive with them. If trained properly they are wonderful pets.

  • @familydobes damn this is totally unfair!!you already had a adorable son and yet you had this adorable dog!!!

  • My doberman has destroyed me almost every day with his hugs and cute looks.

No wait, every day, not almost every day.

  • wow what a vicious dog! lol my doberman loves my little sis and my sis takes the food out of there all the time and caramel(my doberman) does nothing at all lol

  • @mgzt190plus dogs turning is an urban myth especially with dobermans they would never turn on their owner. They are loyal and obedient they were bred for that. If a part of the family he will protect with his life. They never turn on their master. Its a myth dood get ur shit str8.

  • @den3117 Seriously? How many Dobermans have you trained? Check out all my Doberman protection videos, I think I know what makes a Doberman tick. A Hungry dog better never ever bite a person, that is poor pack leadership. A threatened dog also needs to have training for those situations as well, but I promise my one year old son in that video could never "trigger" a Doberman from my breeding program or training program to attack him.

  • @familydobes and i believe you its not the training but the doberman itself it will never turn on it pack sure they were bred to not even look after a pack just one lone master ie the tax collector in Germany that developed these amazing dogs a German Sheppard is more untrustworthy than a doberman just cuz you see them in the movies doesn't mean that's what they are like you fucking moron. Put your chap stick on i hear your daddy calling for a blowjob fuck bag

  • @mgzt190plus This dog was 3 in this video, and dogs never "Turn" they are either raised trained and socialized right or they are not, they don't have a switch that flips later on and says okay now be a bad dog... You can see many more videos of this youngster with different dogs on our channel

  • @familydobes lol

  • @familydobes yes they can turn.! i hadm y dog for 3 years and it was trained and it turned on me. i have scars on my arm and leg from it that are just now going away and this was a year ago.!!!!

  • @MsRubysan The dog never "turned" if it attacked you, it was unstable to begin with either through poor breeding or poor training and socialization. Dogs don't "turn" they either respect people or they don't

  • You are right...dogs need training...but I mean...why scold other people....

people do not know this...it is not their fault...and I know that dogs are living organisms...but it is very silly that beasts are compared to human beings.

  • @familydobes YUP I can't stress this enough... annoys me to no end when people are like "oh that dog can turn on you someday..." yeah maybe... if it grew up with satan, lol

  • @familydobes Not to be argumentative, but I must disagree. Case in point, growing up my family had a GSD, the most loyal, loving and protective dog anyone could ask for. We got him at 12 weeks old. One day while playing in the yard as we had done hundreds of times, he began to get overly aggressive, growling, showing teeth. This episode ended with him biting my little sister. My Dad loved King very much, but didn't waste a minute and shot him dead.

  • @gsxrbuckeye And not to argue with you but all this demonstrates is the GSD lacked the proper genetics, foundation and boundaries. Too bad the dog died for the failure on the part of the trainer. The episode should have ended the first time the he showed any aggression at all. The trainer failed that dog and perhaps the breeder you only shared one small instance and not knowing any mroe than that, I know the dog began showing misbehavior that went uncorrected in that moment

  • @familydobes I by "TRAINER" you mean my Dad or Mom, then I would call hog wash. My Dad worked with King every day at least 2-3 hours a day. And to point out once again, the EPISODE as you refer to it did end the first time. He bit a 4 inch gash out of my little sister and it ended with a 45 slug in his head. The trainer, my Dad, failed no one. And seeing as you weren't here growing up with me, I don't see how you would KNOW anything about any misbehavior, as there was none.

  • @gsxrbuckey

That's like shooting a kid in the head after him making his first mistake. Owning a dog is not about putting it down the first time he looses control. You learn from it, and work to see that it never happens again.

  • @nickibaby64 Ummmm, you REALLY just compared a dog to a human being? Yeah, no reply needed here what so ever. You just admitted insanity.

  • @gsxrbuckeye

Honestly, comparing dogs to humans isn't that far off. It's more likely that a teenager will put you though more hell then a dog would in its' lifetime. People, and animals alike make mistakes. Putting down either for said mistake isn't a reasonable solution. After all, the human race is nothing but an animal that's too smart for it's own good.

  • @gsxrbuckeye Last time, I conceeded I had only been given a small window, but you states the the dog began to get overly aggressive. Nothing was done at that moment, the moment ended when the dog finally did bite and was shot. The Trainer i.e. dad in this case did not stop the behavior before it escalated to the bite. I also conceded the dog could have had bad temperament from the start. I have repeatedly asserted that if a dog is bred, socialized and trained right there is no worry

  • @familydobes Forgive me, I failed to point out that the entire biting episode occured in less than a minute and a half. Too fast for myself or my Dad to reach King before the bite happened. Not all dogs are created equal. But all dogs, are still from the same gene, WOLVES. Wild, creatures that we as humans decided to bring into our homes. If you argue that point, then I see no light on in the window.Bottom line is, you feel safe with a dog that close to your kid, then good foryou

  • @gsxrbuckeye Again the breeder and or trainer failed the dog, why was no one close enough to intervene in a whole minute and a half? Why was the dog alone with a child? You can argue until you are blue in the face, I have trained many dogs, I have worked with many Dobermans and I would never allow a dog to show food aggression, and if the dog had temperament unsuitable for children it would not be at my house.

  • @familydobes Totally agreed upon. Wish I could convince my niece of that. Her daughter has all ready been nipped by a family pet.

  • @gsxrbuckeye If your father wasn't able to respond within 90 seconds, then he wasn't watching closely enough. And if the dog was trained correctly, your father should have been able to simply call the dog off.

Dogs were domesticated tens of thousands of years ago. A naturally aggressive dog has genetic cause--but not of species ancestry. There are studies in natural human aggression that also cite genetic cause. It would be absurd to argue that it's actually linked to our ancient ancestors.

  • the dog may not be doing anything but that is a really anxious situation for me

  • in all honesty, it's how the dog is trained and treated by the owner. these are beautiful dogs, i love them. I would have one if my son wasn't afraid of dogs. The reason for that...my uncle has 3 dogs, all small breeds. the older one is very aggressive and possessive towards ppl, there has been multiple times where he has nipped or bitten others incl. myself. those who say just german shepards, dobermans, pits and rotties among other large breeds are only this way, you are sadly mistaken.

  • Yes...they have to be trained by their owner...but understand...people do not know this...yes...no one is born with knowledge my dear... yes I did have a pitbull and I played with him all the time and he never was aggresive towards me. Although he knew I was his master and friend, he attacked three people...why? we did not trained him...but we did not know that...but it is too silly...so stupid...to care more about beats than human beings

  • Ok, two seconds, i rip of your hands and throw them in the garbage. This can be avoided if you stop taking my food.

  • mrhellguard that is a myth. Dobies are the most loyal dog

  • It all comes down to how u train the dog.

  • I've heard that after over 5 years their goin' wild and attack everything because their brain is growing up and they have a small head..that's what I heard...and I'm afraid to buy a doberman..

  • @MrHellguard That is an urban legend started in the 60's courtesy of some hollywood films. I find it laughable that people think that would be scientifically possible and that it actually happens.

  • @familydobes dude as far as scientifically possible is concerned, it actually does happen. there are breeds like king charles spaniels that are so inbred now that they are basically genetic abominations. their brains can seriously grow too big for their skulls and they have to be put to sleep. whether anything like this happens to dobermans I do not know.

  • @jimmyshitbags Yeah alright, show me one scientific journal that discusses that. It just is not possible, how can any soft tissue grow too large for the bony cavity supporting it? Mind you we are not talking about Injury and other trauma, just growth. It is not ossile, it is an urban legend, and there is not a vet in the world that would go along with the "Brains otgrow the skulls" argument in any breed.

  • @familydobes i'm repeating what I saw on a BBC documentary about the inbreeding that pedigree dogs in the UK are victims of. I don't see what's so unbelievable about a brain still growing whilst the skull stops anyway.

I don't know where to find a proper scienific paper on this, but type in google "pedigree dogs inbreeding" and click on the BBC news link that comes up (i can't paste it here).

  • @jimmyshitbags REmeber what our mothers always taught us about believeing everything we see on TV? I saw on TV once that Dobermans only kill their masters. I thought it to be hilarious. A BBC broadcast hardly makes it science, and again, consult any veterinary community member and they will tell you that just is not possible. It is myth and nothing more. The BBC once broadcasted about spaghetti tress and other great gems as well.

  • @familydobes cavalierhealth dott org / syringomyelia dot htm

" The back half of the cavalier King Charles spaniel’s skull typically may be too small to accommodate all of the brain’s cerebellum, which may also be too large, and so it squeezes through the foramen magnum – the hole at the back of the skull – partially blocking the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) down the spinal cord. "

there are loads of papers on "syringomyelia" as it is apparently called.

  • @jimmyshitbags Yep and if you understand those terms, you also understand that the brain is not growing too large for the skull and causing aggression, and it is not occuring in Doberman's Your articles discuss Spinal Chord passages, Brain Stem clearances and the effects of restriction and build up of fluid pressure. Not at all linked to the original question of "Do their brains grow too big for their heads and cause them to turn agressive and attack everything"

  • @MrHellguard

I heard this one about Collies years and years ago. I guess every few years it catches on with a different breed. I wonder how a breeder would manage to trick evolution like that..... Surprise, your head is too small for your brain.

The doberman in this vido is demonstrating what I have always found to be the common temperament of the breed. She is particularly charming though.

  • @MrHellguard You miss guided foool !!!!!!!!

  • What a very well trained girl you have there.... She is lovely. Obviously loves you and your family and knows her position in your pack.....

  • I totaly agree, and I know the dog is a female I'm not blind and of course every domestic animal doesnt always act in accordance, this is one of the smartest breeds thus making training easier, not all breeds are equal, I think this is a beautiful dog.and well trained. Not everyone cares enough.and you know this is true.

  • what i love is how she cocks her head to one side as in saying whatcha doing kid? nothin..okay *nom nom nom*

  • I dont want to step on toes/.as I have worked with dogs for over 30 years and I have been certified in training, most males are more prevelant to guarding and aggressions,But as stated,,I wouldnt EVER take that chance..GREAT DOG THOUGH and one of the smartest of breeds..

  • @kstew63 Again funny to me as the second person with 30 years dog training experience has thought this bitch to be a male? This is a Bitch, raised and socialized around kids, and no dog should ever resource guard around people, it is unaaceptable. These are domestic animals, not wild animals. Obviously no one should do this with a wolf or other wild animal, but every domesticated animal should understand pecking order clearly, and understand humans are at the top.

  • @familydobes I would not keep a dog around my family that wasn't safe around them, and I would never take chances with my children. This dog knows her place, and she patiently waits for the child to give the food back. I she wasn't that kind of dog with that prior socialization and training, she would not be allowed my children.

  • @familydobes thats true. the fact that the dog lets the child any where near his food bowl without growling or baring it's teeth is incredible. very tamed.

  • @familydobes ok but remember they're animals, not humans!! they're not prevedible as you think! So be careful! I'm not talking about Dobermann+kids, but Dobermann+kids that steals food(and for a dog is not good). Nice dog btw

  • Hmmm, I think the biggest danger here is not the dobie, but that the kid might think it can do the same with other dogs too - which could turn out really bad.

    Other than that: C'mon, they're so cute 2gether... :)

  • my dog eats very fast ..and everyone can eat from his plate..my dog dont care if its emty he knows that there is more !

u even can pet hin while hes eating..he just dont care.

  • really good trained dobie alot of them would try to bit the babies hand off

  • this is good, the dog learned that he is of lower rank than even the baby, whoever dominates him knows what he/she is doing. (although i don't know if i would use a baby to showcase this)

    -

if only more people were so responsible with their dog, instead of expecting them to be killing machines to suit their own massive egos.

  • I also have a doberman and would fully trust her to do this. she's lovely. I believe its how you bring them up.

  • Dogs naturally become maternal around children to the point where the child is like their own as well. AKA. This kid could put his face in the bowl and the most the dog will do is probably push him out.

  • i miss the old times when the dogs used to stole my food...

  • How cute :-)

  • All 4 of my kids grew up with our Dobermans. Never had any problems. They are Great dogs.

  • very beautiful dog i have a male solid black pitbull and a 1 year old son and my dog (ace) is very protective of him and lets him crawl all over him without and hesatation and my sons first words were ace, to catch this on film is indeed a beautiful and profound thing! any dog, no matter what breed if loved and trained properly and around correct influnces would be this way! excelent job! shes a very smart and beautiful doberman

  • WOW!!! Killer dog? That Dobie showed NO SIGNS of guarding or anything aggressive. She tilted her head because she was wondering what the hell the baby was going to go with the food she had in her hand. !!! all JMO of course ..I have NO PROFFESSIONAL trainning but have had pitbulls, rotts, and now dobies around all my children with out incident...20+ years!!!!

  • Perfectly harmless and innocent. Every kid should grow up with a dog.

  • tisk tisk bad parents making their child eat out of a metal bowl on the ground...

  • this dobie is well trained just like my 3 year old female doberman i trained my dog from when it was a puppy now i can play with its food and it will never try to bite me or other members of my family people who think there is something wrong here are stupid dobermans are great family dogs and very protective of the family and will never attack family members

  • má ideia!!!! nunca se deve fazer isso nem mesmo um adulto!!!! é assim que acidentes acontecem e depois os caes é que sao os maus da fita...

  • hey look at me im cool i put a bady next to dog eating .

  • why would you take a chance like this???? I don't care how well trained this dog is....it is still an animal. You never know. you NEVER know.
