@dynamokiev1998 Because by that time he was called Elmer in Danish, instead of Elmo. And seeing as Elmo is writing his name in that scene, they decided to blur out the letters in order to not confuse the watchers.

Today Elmo is called by his original name in Danish, and is not writing with invisible ink anymore, LOL.

Haha it's because he's writing "ELMO", and since they have translated his name to Elmer in dansish, I guess that's the reason why they removed his english name Elmo.

Det der har været sendt i Danmark af Sesam serier har været Elmo's world (Elmers verden) og Open Sesame (Sesam, luk dig op) det sidste har ikke været sent siden sidst i 90'erne.
