This brings to my mind that section of Patrick Kavanaugh's "Gaff Topsails" when the boys are out fooling around on a berg in the harbor... I was sure it would flip over at any turn of the page!
I experienced something similar on my 13th. birthday in NL. I was on a huge iceberg, decided it was too slippery & used a paddle of the rowboat to push myself off...I heard a creak & knew I was in trouble. I rowed like a maniac watching it topple over, waves were huge, when the waves started, I stopped & let the boat roll with the waves until it calmed down. I didn't tell Mom till I was in my 30;s!! haha I think she was still scared!! LOL
I caught a colapse like just off Signal Hill A couple of years ago. I don't leave home without my camera anymore. Yours has such terrific audio; the way it cracks as it sunders. Well done!
The Earth is a changing system, Ever hear of the Ice age? (Not the stupid movie) 10,000 years ago most of America was covered with 100 mile high ice, it was so strong of a push thats where the Northeast mountain range and the great lakes came from. The Earth is going to always change, it swings one way then starts back the other way.
Incredible video! How lucky we were to be there that day at that time, and your video is a remarkable documentary. My brief videos--shot with an ordinary camera--are posted too, but they can't compare to this. Especially good is how your were filming when the collapse began. --Batavicus

Don't believe everything your teacher tells you.
Water freezes. Ice melts, get over it.
