    like a pond or somthing

  • dont use coconut hust it will me ur igg sick

    Thank you

    -Kayla

  • @Jak765567 reptile expos or petsmart

  • where did you get your light fixtures and how much were they?

  • how well do your iguanas get along in the enclosure together?

  • how big is that cage

  • how wide is it i might build my iggy a cage and your is perfect size for mine what are the dimensions

  • @potpiepiper well for a full grown iguana its 8 feet high by 4 feet wide by 6 feet long, because they get about 7 feet long, max, but for a baby, just make sure its more high than it is long, and make it twice the size of te iguana, to check the acceptance of the cage, look at the scale color, it should be light green, brown or dark green means it isnt happy

  • Great looking iguana I cant wait to get mines that big. I have 2 blue iguanas. I just built them a custom cage so that they will grow like that. Check it and them out on my video and let me know what you think.

  • how much total 2 make the cage plz respond cuz im probly gonna model mine after that

  • High five to yet another person who custon built there iguana cage

  • The red iguana doesn't look red at all.

  • just wondering, Would two Female iguana's be fine together in a custom 6x4x3 cage, one is 2ft the other is 3ft?

  • Check out my vid for my set up I welcome any advice...

  • I def agree with the news paper. I used to coconut stuff and it was a pain in the arse to clean daily.

  • How much did it cost for just making the cage?

  • why not cover the lights with little metal cages so your igg wont burn himself or your house good luck

  • how much was you Iguana

  • hey man how big is ur cage?

  • Branches?

  • where did u get those branches?

  • @jmald2636 His back yard? The park? Branches aren't that hard to find are they?

  • @jmald2636 these particular ones i actually bought for like 20 bucks at a reptile shop

  • @Tyranus02 awsome all i got are a bunch of petcos tht sell little twigs -_-

  • how big the cage ????

  • hey i just got my new iguana and is there anything basic that i should know ... how u handle with ur babi iguana ?

  • @9zombie5 well most iguanas are wild caught and are hard to tame but all i can say is give it time to adjust to its environment, and when u do start trying to handle it , move your hands slowly when u go to pick it up or anything

  • hey man love ur cage

  • what are the dimensions of the tank

  • @yellowmango117 the is 6 feet tall 4 feet wide and @ and a half feet deep

  • Hey does the wood above your ceramic heat emitter get hot? I just mounted a 100 watt emitter and damn the sucka gets hot. Did u buy your Igs when they were hatchlings? Nice set up.

    Steve

  • @MrAragona77 not hatchlings but my red was like 12 inches and my green iguana was big like 3 feet

  • how much did all that cost?

  • @kbvlogs11 like at most 200

  • @Amazingvid101 i know its small but they don`t get 6 feet long in the first couple months, thats how long im keeping it that big, i`m moving into my new house we just built in the spring, and there is a storage unit i`m going to keep my iguana in, the closet is 8ft high 4ft wide and 6 ft long, pretty big for an ig.

  • whats the dimensions, I was going to make mine 6ft tall and then like a 3ft rectangle, would that be good for 2 iguanas?

  • @VezinaHD You want a cage at least 6 feet long, 4 feet wide, and at least 6 feet tall.

  • @Amazingvid101 I can't do that, my room isn't big enough, I'm going to make it about 4 and a half feet tall, 4 feet long and 4 feet wide, i'm moving in the spring and i'm getting a bigger room, so i'll make an addition and make it bigger, but thanks!

  • @VezinaHD dude just go as big as u can thats the best thing u can do

  • Chipboard not plywood, but who cares, best cage i've seen yet.

  • Big boy looks like a female

  • how much did it cost you to build the whole enclosure

  • nice home! Your iguanas look awesome! I'm not so sure I could put that much greenage in my iguana's home. She'd try to eat it. Do you have a trick to keep them from eating fake plants? Besides regular feedings, She just wants a taste.

  • hi, just wondering...what are the dimensions and about how much did it cost? Thanks

  • @snakewrangler1 6x4x2 1/2

  • will do

  • SWEET totally make a new vid everyone wants to see a new one

  • Ok how do you keep your iggys from eating the plants

  • @guitar446 they just bite them a few times and they learn, iguanas are very intelligent

  • that looks so expensive ive never owned a reptile before but damn all that stuff looks very expensive. ur iguana must be very happy to have u

  • @tilliez Haha it actually isn't bad if you're resourceful. And most reptiles don't need a cage anywhere near this big.

  • @WoWBronxe iguanas do

  • @hacker13sacker Obviously

  • @WoWBronxe lol

  • I love your iguanas and the cage. Very nice and job with both. I have a green and a rhino. I will be making another cage for my green and will use some of your ideas for his cage. My rhino is a free roamer and has his own bedroom. Keep up the good work with your animals

  • hey man...I love your cage...where did you get the logs from

  • what is the size of you cage i need to have another one built

  • Mate. This cage is far too tiny for one, let alone two iguanas. Further on, the branches are too thin and the wire doors are a potential hazard for their claws and tail. Plus, they need humidity, meaning, they should have some kind of water pool in there or at least a few times sprayed thoroughly, hence the wire-doors are not recommended.

You mean well and if this would be at least 2m x 2.50 x 1m, it would be pretty good. You've done your homework food-wise. So kudos to that.

  • @IguanaStella with time i will make their cage bigger so no worries

  • have u plan to breed them yet?

..i'm planning gettin two in september in the reptile expo=D

  • @sk8islove165 dnt think you should breed iguanas bro....the markets is already flooded with wild imports and there are plenty of them too adopt...breeding only adds to the problem

  • dam nice cage

  • Where's the brain?

  • KOOL IGUANA HOW OLD IS HE I HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD MALE GREEN IGUANA

  • love the cage man looks nice but i suggest seling the ply wood with a water base primer

and also were the waterbowl?(igunas look healthy keep up the good work)

  • hey what temperature is it in your iguana cage at night Z?>?>

  • @hacker13sacker i try to keep it no lower than 70

  • i got my sticks from my local lake in san diego,ca. about the same as these ones.

  • you got a awesome cage!! and yours look amazingly healthy!! what do you do ?

  • @MrMMABoy oh lol :S i didnt finnnish the video xD

  • @MrMMABoy but hey where do you get those sticks ?

  • i seeen iguanas at the pet store today i thought that i would never seen the again thank god i seen them at the shop :]

  • nice!

  • yea umm u should put fake grass on the piy wood instead of all the harmful sealers thats what i did and my igs love it!!

  • where did yu get the fixtures?

  • Hey I just wanted to add that you should paint with water based paint or sealer to be safe because that would your using can be toxic to you iggs and it probably hurt to give them a hiding spot.

  • hey Tyranus check out my iguana cage I made for Brutus. Ever since I introduced Brutus to the new habitat, she has been loving it and she seems more relaxed now. How old is your big boy?

I added running distilled water, humidifier, ultrasonic water vaporer for added humidity, it stays at around 75% humidity all day. I too feed my iguana rep cal and wilvital for added calcium, etc. be sure to check it out

  • nice cage! I plan to start to built a baby Iguana cage this summer out of PVC and screen. Do you know a good size cage for a 18inch Green Iguana?

  • its 6ft tall 4ft wide and 2 and a half deep

  • nice setup i used 4x4s for my support beams tho, and 2x6 for the horizontal beams, check out my vids

  • Where Can i get those sticks? i want some for my cage!

  • hard to find this big my local reptile shop sold them to me and i havent seen any at any other reptile shop

  • @Tyranus02 i want to make 1 but what do i have to do to the wood to mmake it safe

  • sweet cage, man.

  • thanks

  • @Tyranus02 What are the sizes and how much did it cost, also what material did you use thanks.

  • would that size enclosure be good for one iguana for its whole life? being a female too??

  • yea but a little time outside the cage is enjoyed too

  • how big is that..cuz ill be building one in about feb and yours seems a nice size

  • its six feet tall 4 feet wide and 2 and a half deep

  • How much did you pay for the entire enclosure? I got a Green Iguana about a week ago and he is growing fast, and I really like this enclosure, so i'm thinking on building something like this.

  • cool iguana cage ,and iguana

check out my new custem iguana cage i made out of my dresser.

  • you should place a large cat litter box at the bottom and fill it all the way up with water for the iguana's to full submerge for them to soak, and help them with sheds. Also for the decorations, I love the top part of the cage but you should add more plants on the bottom section. And maybe add one huge hide.

  • can you like send me plans..or just exactly the parts you used?..and how much did that cage cost ya?

  • I can tell you love your Iggys. So, I subscribed. I look forward to seeing more of the dedication you have shown in this vid. =] How old is your male? I didn't catch his name.

  • hey did you have to seal the osb or not

  • Have you had any problems with the lamps? I got a 150W ceramic lamp and im considering in placing it like you did but with a protector so the iggy wont get burned, and i m afraid if it is a ifre hazzard.

  • well the ceramic fixture will get kinda hot but it should be able to take it

  • You have to watch out for females they are a lot of work because when it comes to mating sseason they will still have eggs no matter if they have a mate or not. so you would need a plaace for them to lay their eggs. and you must put much more calcium powder in their food

  • yes i know everything ur telling me don't worry, i've done my research

  • NO but if it is a boy and a girl youuu could not stop them from mating

  • yea i know

  • sorry to tell you but you are not surposed to feed an iguana dry official food ever. mainly greens and some calcium powder

  • they usually eat mustard greens, collard greens, with the dry food

  • hey man !!XD im planning to by an iguana but i am having trouble finding what is the exacte sized cage for a full grown adulte iguana ..could you help me out ?

  • ur iguana is amazing dude!!

  • thanks

  • Comment removed

  • mine wont eat the rep cal iguana food.

  • u gotta mix it with their regular food. Start with little bits and then move up to more. It takes some time but they will eat it.

  • good vid

  • I love you cage dude I am going to build one for mine but I was wondering how you keep them from mating?

  • well it turned out that mine are females

  • o ok

well i got one and my lil bro has one and they are both to young to tell what they are but i am going to build something like that for mine outside for like the summer and my room is going to be his room.

  • o ok i was just telling you just in case if you didnt know

  • its kinda impossible to keep them from mating they will fight you just to mate. only way is to keep them away from each other at all times and never put them together but thats not good because they like partners and their attitude is better.

  • so ur saying that 3 females are guna mate? i kinda doubt that

  • yea ive been there

thats were i buy my reptiles at

    its in harbor city rite

  • yea

  • were did you get the large sticks at

    please reply

  • actually i got them from a local reptile shop its called reptile finders, they carry a few of these large stick cuz they have a few large iguana

  • my iguana doesnt eat the monster diet

  • hey man thats a pretty kick ass lookin setup you got there. how much did it cost all together? I got a birdcage thats like 6ft tall like 3ft wide an 3ft deep I dont use it yet its got old ass screen wire in itan my ig scratched himself on it so i put him back in his tank til I get money to upgrade the cage.I got one ig that I bought myself then one I took home for the summer it was a class pet at my school.its really scared an dont like people cause they fucked with it.which is why i took him.

  • i probably spent like 200 $ for everything

  • i forgot to ask before but how did you make the doors i want to make sure that i know what im doing before i build anything and your cage is just awsome so can you help me with that

  • the doors i used metal braces to hold the wooden door frame together aswell as glue, the with screws and and a wide metal washers to hold the screen mesh, hopefully my description helps, oh and the wood well that up to u to decide how thick u want the wood pieces

  • what is the screen you use for the door i need to make a screen door for my cage and that looks strong and good

  • i used the screen mesh, u can get it at home depot or Lowe's

  • hey u should put some dirt in the bottom so wen i t goes down it could have a soft place to lay down and so it could dig

  • they're hardly ever on the bottom

  • im going to build a cage and hoping to get a blue diamond iguana hows a 5ftx4ftx2ft cage sound for one

  • sounds good to start off just remember that a six foot giant will still need a bit bigger in the future i know i need to expand my cage but just as long as u can provide the space then good luck man

  • That's a very nice enclosure.I have to build a new one for my Frilled Dragon and Veiled Chameleon.5*.

  • sick setup, but again with the plywood deal.

  • what wrong with plywood?

  • if the plywood isnt sealed it will warp and rot.

  • oh ok i thought u meant something else, ok

  • That set-up is so awsome! Your green iguana is so chill.

  • how did you keep the branches held to the tank, did you use screws?

  • yeah i put braces and screws holding them

  • nice but its kind of small for that iguana

  • no thats plenty of room

  • yeah he's getting bigger so im planning to add maybe another 3 or 4 feet to it

  • roughly around 150$

  • awsome man...can u just give me rough estamate how much it cost like 200$ 300

    dollars? thanks

    awsome cage
