I could listen to this a 1000 times and would still get the same chills that I got the first time I heard it. I had the chance to see Dan 3 years and anything hid did was moving. Being able to sing is one thing but he could emotionaly sell his product also. A legend is an understatement. RIP

I was going to emcee a charity David Allen Coe concert but David got sick. Well Dan took the phone call in Nashville and drove up with 2 guys to Springfield, Illinois. What a special human being, he had as much heart as his music. He was taken from us too soon and you won't find too many songs like this one. What a great performer and guy. God Bless Dan Seals!

I saw Dan in concert two different times in my life.  He didn't need fancy lights or special effects. His voice was more than enough to carry the show. My sympathies to his family and the fans who love his music.

@comicus59718 I never realized this until I read your comment, and from all the videos I've looked he's done this even back in the England Dan & John Ford Coley days. When you look closer like you suggested, it appears he's strumming his fingers up instead of down. Just another example of how talented this artist was. Thanks for sharing.

The first time i listened to Dan was when he joined forces with Ford Coley in the mid 70's."love is the answer" wasn't a song penned by him but it was smash hit in southamerica where i live.and a couple years passed and i went to Va. USA where i began to listen the best music i've ever heard before. i mean the country and Dan Seals was my favorite singer . RiP GREAT DAN SEALS.

One of my favorite songs. Did not realize that he had passed away. I had the pleasure of meeting Dan in 1988. He was in town doing a benefit concert for Special Olympics. I was part of the stage crew and I talked to him a couple times that day. He was one of the nicest guys I ever met. Rest In Peace, Dan.

I met Dan in "85 after a concert in Indepence MO, then again in 2000 before a show in Kirksville MO. Being a musician we talked of music, and both times he signed his picture with...."Keep Pickin Pete". This, of course is the acoustic version.......my favorite.
