That guitar looks and sounds amazing! Im am very happy for you! We'll done! :) How much did it cost in total and which luthier did you go to> Many thanks! :D
@andiihsandi Thanks for the tip man! I've been using -1/+1 with the treadle all the way down, and on the recording it sounds like it's only octave down D:
srry could you tell me what exactly u said to the luthier.. because i wanna make one.. exactly the same.. so tell me what u said to him?? if u emailed pls forward me thxx pm me thx
@herodrummerable hm a lot of it was in person, but if you collect the parts yourself, give the luthier a picture of the replica you want to make and tell him to blow it up until the pickups match in size with the real-life pickups. That way you know the body shape is accurate.
As for the glitter, I got it all off of kitkraft.com, and there are specific variants of glitter I used. After seeing the finish, there are some glitter types I would not have used, mainly the larger sizes.
@herodrummerable You're going to want to order the Extra Fine Silver Prism Glitter (holographic glitter), the Very Fine Silver Prism Glitter, Extra Fine Red Glitter as a base layer before the other glitter is added, and the Extra Fine Pink Glitter. DO NOT get the VERY FINE PINK GLITTER, it takes away from the overall look up close. As for the glitter pattern, you can work with your luthier on a sketch mapping out the glitter. If you give me your email I can attach the sketch my luthier used.
@philam64 Can you send me the sketch please? my email is: lj_coool@hotmail.com (yes 3 o's) also, if you have the sketch of the whole body, would you help me out with that? pleaseee I want to build a replica, but I just can't get the body meassures and shape
@herodrummerable also, I paid $500 for the glitter work. This was my luthier's first time attempting any sort of glitter finish. Keep in mind it also takes longer because more base/final coats are required to set and protect the glitter, so to speak. Good luck with your replica!
@herodrummerable Took a pic of the original red glitter off of musewiki, and the luthier blew it up until the pickups matched in size. Simple, but genius.
@museruls Yeah Agitated would be pretty cool! I'm gonna need to figure out a good setting for the right tone on my amp. Sometimes I can be a tonefreak :) But thanks!

how do you get the audience sounds in the background?
MissFeonaLee 6 months ago
@MissFeonaLee Since my backing track is of live audio, the audience cheering came with it :)
philam64 6 months ago
hey, how did you learn the parts? Is this guitar hero stuff that you are using???
MissFeonaLee 6 months ago
@MissFeonaLee Hey! I got your message. I watch tons of live footage and learn by ear just so I can get it right. I got one chord wrong, though, haha!
philam64 6 months ago
the intro with the sustainer sounds better if you play it with +1 octave, worked perfect with my manson
cheers

Hi hOw did you get the shape of the guitar ?? It looks awfully the same!
herodrummerable 8 months ago
@herodrummerable Took a pic of the original red glitter off of musewiki, and the luthier blew it up until the pickups matched in size. Simple, but genius.
Btw, it's a lot smaller than it seems. :)
philam64 8 months ago
its pink or red? on the right screen is red and on the left one it is pink! O.o
quibto 8 months ago
@quibto It's more pink, but it really depends on the light. I offered two camera angles both to see the fingers better and the body better.
philam64 8 months ago
You don't need to tune your A to a G. Wtf is that all about?
69JBennett 8 months ago
@69JBennett Matt tunes it like this and in a performance when singing it is much easier to play it like this

philam64 8 months ago
