13 years ago my mother suffered from panreatic cancer. The doctor told her she had a hernia and let her walk around for months before I finally decided it was enough and I took her to the hospital. It was too late though, they basically sent her home to die. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult to cure, so I've been told. Two months after she got sent home she passed away.
Essiac tea at natural heritage enterprise helped my mother who is still alive with us. She was stage 4 and they said she had only 5 weeks. This was over two years ago. She underwent chemo which caused her alot of pain and she was on hospice. Today she is no longer with hospice and back living a normal life. Also good diet, exercise, and a positive atitude helps as well. But foremost put God ahead of it all. ;D
ive been having the same fear and dissapointment since i knew about Randy Pausch's death.. "pancreatic cancer is not the type of cancer you want to get", & i thought there are not many survivors to know about and be little optimistic..
Hi April, I know you made this video some time ago but I just had to comment what a great message that was- you should be a national spokesperson! Take care :)
Hi April, I can't get over how natural (and beautiful)this wig looks on you. You are truly an inspiration for others.I'm a new subbie, and I will continue to pray for you and others who are dealing with that aweful C word. God bless. (I lost my mom three yrs ago to cancer, docs gave her "two yrs left to live", twice!! So we were blessed to have her around for so much longer.People cannot let go of hope.God bless u beautiful woman!!!
3 weeks ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage II pancreatic cancer. we know we're very fortunate that all the other organs are clean and only a few lymph nodes right outside the pancreas are affected. we're not worried about it because we know it's in God's hands and that's good enough for us. "This illness was not meant to end in death but so that the Son of God may be glorified through it." John 11:4
If you have cancer, it's hard not to feel like you are somehow being punished, like your future is being taken away. We don't know why bad things happen to good people, but we only have one life, and we can live it in fear and anger, or with hope and faith. People may say your faith is delusional or your hope is unrealistic. Do not listen to them! Set an example by living the best life you can live, no matter how short or long it may end up being, so you can be proud of it when you do leave!
Thank you so much for sharing. I was diagnosed with breast cancer this year at the age of 41. I have good days where I am happy and strong and days when I am soo sad I don't know what to do. There is one thing I do believe though, the power of the mind. Believing that you will beat it is the road to recovery. Be strong in your thoughts and we will win!
One book that has given me strength and hope is "Love, Medicine, and Miracles," by Dr. Bernie Siegel. I highly recommend it if you or a loved one have been diagnosed with cancer. xo, April

There is no God so no need to worry. Every night when we go to sleep that's what death is like.
