  • Just want to throw one name out: TERRY FOX!

  • 13 years ago my mother suffered from panreatic cancer. The doctor told her she had a hernia and let her walk around for months before I finally decided it was enough and I took her to the hospital. It was too late though, they basically sent her home to die. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult to cure, so I've been told. Two months after she got sent home she passed away.

  • you'r so beautifull <3

  • Thank you April. My mom was just diagnosed with this and i just don't know what i would do without her. But we're gonna fight and beat this thing!!

  • Essiac tea at natural heritage enterprise helped my mother who is still alive with us. She was stage 4 and they said she had only 5 weeks. This was over two years ago. She underwent chemo which caused her alot of pain and she was on hospice. Today she is no longer with hospice and back living a normal life. Also good diet, exercise, and a positive atitude helps as well. But foremost put God ahead of it all. ;D

  • Thanks you for you help,i have breast cancer.

I would like to know how are you.

    God Bless you.

  • your so amazing APRIL !

  • ive been having the same fear and dissapointment since i knew about Randy Pausch's death.. "pancreatic cancer is not the type of cancer you want to get", & i thought there are not many survivors to know about and be little optimistic..

    ill check the site out..

    thanks a lot April :)

  • With tears in my eyes - THANK YOU!

  • wow~

  • Hi April, I know you made this video some time ago but I just had to comment what a great message that was- you should be a national spokesperson! Take care :)

  • Hi April, I can't get over how natural (and beautiful)this wig looks on you. You are truly an inspiration for others.I'm a new subbie, and I will continue to pray for you and others who are dealing with that aweful C word. God bless. (I lost my mom three yrs ago to cancer, docs gave her "two yrs left to live", twice!! So we were blessed to have her around for so much longer.People cannot let go of hope.God bless u beautiful woman!!!

  • Your a very nice person, and very pretty:D

it's true people should not compare themselves to others.

  • Keep on spreading your strength. You are on the right road to recovery!! What a woman!!!!!!!!!!

  • good point :)

3 weeks ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage II pancreatic cancer. we know we're very fortunate that all the other organs are clean and only a few lymph nodes right outside the pancreas are affected. we're not worried about it because we know it's in God's hands and that's good enough for us. "This illness was not meant to end in death but so that the Son of God may be glorified through it." John 11:4

  • If you have cancer, it's hard not to feel like you are somehow being punished, like your future is being taken away. We don't know why bad things happen to good people, but we only have one life, and we can live it in fear and anger, or with hope and faith. People may say your faith is delusional or your hope is unrealistic. Do not listen to them! Set an example by living the best life you can live, no matter how short or long it may end up being, so you can be proud of it when you do leave!

  • Thank you so much for sharing. I was diagnosed with breast cancer this year at the age of 41. I have good days where I am happy and strong and days when I am soo sad I don't know what to do. There is one thing I do believe though, the power of the mind. Believing that you will beat it is the road to recovery. Be strong in your thoughts and we will win!

  • One book that has given me strength and hope is "Love, Medicine, and Miracles," by Dr. Bernie Siegel. I highly recommend it if you or a loved one have been diagnosed with cancer. xo, April

  • @astormycello All the best to you, you will beat it. XD

    :) xx

  • i have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer i am so scared i am 37 years old i have 4 children i had all my life planed and i love my kids so mutch for 12 months my doctors thought i had gall stones , then they found a tumour in my pancreas i have chemo therapy ,but i am so scared of dyeing i dont want to leave my kids . i cry every day asking god what i did to deserve this , i am not a bad man to deserve this , why is he takeing me away from my kids and why he gives me all this pain ,

  • There is no God so no need to worry. Every night when we go to sleep that's what death is like.

  • I don't know why this is happening to you staffer11, but I can tell you not to ever give up hope.I cared for my mom for two yrs and she was with us for longer than drs. thought.Miracles do happen.I'm sure you didn't do anything to deserve this.I hope your pain subsides. God bless u and your kids. I'll be praying for you all.

  • You are amazing and inspirational! I love your videos and I am so in awe of you reaching out to others while you go through your own battle with cancer. Gina
