I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti video card, a Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz processor, and 4 gb memory, but i still get a fps from 14-20 (30 when not moving at all) when playing gta IV (texture settings on medium, the rest on high), this is without this mods. Can any1 help me?

@Tom245245 Put your Texture on High and reduce the shadow setting, you can even turn them off. Then it will run smoothly. ;)

@KarlKeule You might beable to play this on medium settings. You have to remember, Crysis 2 was optimized to hell when they made their PC port. GTA IV is a direct port off the Xbox 360 version, which in return, had no optimizing done at all. Simply enough, my GFX card is lower than yours, and I can play GTA IV pretty well. But I also have some other higher PC specs than you, so it should all balence out in the end.

@XzcutioneR2 GTA 4 @ max or even with mods @ max is pretty hardcore for every PC. You require a good CPU (Standard GTA 4 and Mods) and also a very good GPU (with mods only, standard GTA does not need a very good GPU)

With your Dual Core and your Graphics card it wont be possible to play this mod @ max.!

You have to upgrade in the next time if you like to play games/mods like this.

@XzcutioneR2 A HD 5xxx without a 6pin connector? So the card should have no connector? It only should get energy from the pci-e slot? Take a look at the HD 5670. Maybe on of these only uses the energy provided by the PCI-E Slot. But im not sure about this.

IMO the only things that look better are the roads and cars. the trees just seem greener to me. idk thats just me i guess. but also IMO gta4 normal graphics seem like horriable 256mb graphics more like medium, high 128mb graphics settings. i have it for pc and xbox 360. pc is better because when im in the infernus going like 150+ MPH the textures dont load till i get to where i am on the 360. i wait like 3 seconds for the textures. pc its already there. that GT240 1GB is better than i thought.

@Arsjonisteman turbov turbokey and stuff are mainboard-side, so there on youre mainboard, most mainboards wich have that stuff are from 100 to 300$ like my M4A79 Deluxe (150€), to overlock google for some overclocking tutorials, you basely only need to pull up the multiplikator, or push up the FSB in small steps

Download memtube 4 from somewere, it really helps adding some extra fps to ure games, install latest patches and put vision distance not higher than 35, detail distance not higher than 45, and vehicle density can be at 100

ure game should run smooth on that settings, at least it does on mine and i almost got same specs as u :)
