It's truly laughable that this guy is romanticized on the level that he is when many of the leftist that fawn over him are the very ones who he would have considered enemies and imprisoned.
Ernesto Guevara ran forced labor prison camps that housed, in addition to political prisoners, Christians, people with long hair, people who listened to rock music, homosexuals... The list goes on. Not to mention the thousands of people who died by his hand or order.

En argentina no hay récords de Ernesto Che Guevara, graduándose de medicina o ninguna otra carrera, solo que asistió, un par de años a clases. eso es todo. Um no, I do know my history. Che was responsible for the death of thousands without the benefit of a trial. He ordered the deaths of children as young as 14 for counter-revolutionary activities. The CIA sent operatives to hunt him down in Bolivia but the final order to kill him came from Bolivian President Barrientos (his son Rene Barrientos confirms this)He tried to start revolution in Bolivia, but Barrientos was popular with the peasants, so he failed. The US had 60 years to turn Cuba into a paradise of democracy and freedom, and what was the result: illiteracy, high mortality, foreign control of resources, prostitution, all manner of crime, massive economic disparities, and a DICTATORSHIP under Batista.
Of course I would hope for a social democracy in Cuba. but given the possibilities, the revolution was the best of 2 bad options. And Castro has provided his people the best that could be expected under a 55 year (and counting) US embargo.

Me acuerdo, mosinnageant. Por desgracia la majoria del poder se queda en las manos de personas las que estan tratando de perseguir sus intereses sobre la voz de razon. Por ejemplo, durante los cinquantes, el gobierno de los Estados-Unidos protegieron sus inversiones en la empresa "United Fruit Company" en Guatamala sobre la voluntad de la gente en este pais, que resulto en la invasion de grupos apoyados por EE UU los que borraron su gobierno democratico.

Ni puta idea de lo q dices. Castro ha logrado la igualdad en Cuba, unica nacion en el mundo donde la riqueza es repartida, donde todos tienen acceso a las necesidades fisicas y espirituales (vivienda, sanidad, estudios, trabajo). Ningun pais capitalista lo lograra nunca xq ese no es su objetivo, solo engrosar las arcas de los empresarios y los politicos. El Che queria que Cuba resistiera los ataques yankis, q preparara el comunismo para el futuro mediante el socialismo y Cuba es el ejemplo.
