Saw Boskovsky on a New Years Day Concert can't remember what year, fell in love with Strauss music ever since absolutely marvellous, Boskovsky best conductor ever.

Boskovsky made it easy for those of us who love the music of Vienna. Just get CD's or MP3's of Boskovsky and the Vienna Philharmonic. Forget about all the other versions. Willi was clearly the greatest conductor of this music.

Willi Boskovski was undoubtedly the greatest. I think Georges Prete's conducting is great too

As a contrast to the hyper-energetic Carlos Kleiber,just sit back and relax and enjoy the natural and relaxed playing of the Viennese under its wonderful former concertmaster:))
