To see these illuminating faces of gracious servants of the Almighty always bring me to tears. May the Almighty bless the Sheikhs and their students to present this Deen in the best way acceptable to the Him. Ameen
THIS is amazing but we need the same one here in UK ASWELL we need to be revived of the islamic spirit aswell could anyone tell me if there is any conferences like this one
I LOVE this conference but the only wish i would like all these scholars and artists are amazing but i live in the uk and this only has happened in US . there are many people here which would like the same conference same people to revive the islamic spirit!!!
please if there is any conferences like this could anyone let me know???....
You guys at RIS should invite Irfan Makki he is from this city and he actually attends RIS i have seen him there. He is a great insperation to new muslim and muslims in general he is a great role model. To grow up in the west and to keep islam alive in his life and to inspire others to think differently about islam. His message in his nasheed is very inspiring and it touches people around the world, You can watch him on you tube and he works through Awakening records. Jazakallah!!
This year's RIS event in Toronto is going to be exciting! Mishary Al Afasy, Tariq Ramadan, Hamza Yusuf, Sami Yusuf, Outlandish along with many others are confirmed! Can't wait!!
Some of the speakers here are seen in other parts of the world and they make the locals feel uncomfortable. They seem like politicians rather than what they r suppose to be.
The problem for moderate Muslims who try desperately to put a kind face on Islam is that non-Muslims are now reading the Quran and learning the whole truth about Islam.
@asif365 Brother, you sounded very ignorant when you wrote that. First off, what do you mean by "wahabi"? It's a derogatory term and no one calls themselves "wahabi". You do know that the term was invented by the British who opposed the Islamic reform movement of Sheikh Abdul Wahhab (raheemahullah), right? The Sheikh was a very pious and wonderful Muslim who revived Islam in the Arabian peninsula. If anything, there was a modernist infiltration in this conference!
@lopperz I just read the comments on your profile and you have a history of insulting Turks and other nationalities! it is not befitting of a Muslim to badmouth people! how dare oyu say "modernist infiltration" you dont know what your talking about, people with closed minds should come with closed mouths! stop trying to explain something you know nothing about. You just insulted the people here due to your blind arrogance.
@markee871 I didn't leave any "anti-Turk" comments. Had you taken the time to actually read what happened, SOMEONE ELSE was leaving racist comments, and I told them not to. I don't know how you could have gotten the COMPLETE opposite of what happened. Anyways, as for here, the person below me actually first used the word "infiltration", along with throwing around a derogatory, sectarian word like "Wahabbi". I just responded with a less offensive (but more accurate) label like modernist.
@markee871 Oh, and .... also, since you love snooping around other people's channels, I paid a little visit to yours. Apparently, your'e obsessed with hair styles and pop music. I doubt your'e even a Muslim. How then can you say that I'm "trying to explain something you know nothing about", you ignorant filth?
@lopperz Salam...First of all, his name is Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab, so Abdul Wahab is his father, not the controversial figure in question. Secondly, his own brother called his movement Wahabiyya, so it was clearly not a term invented by the British. Thirdly, I don't believe there is any historical record of the British having any opposition to his movement, and it was in fact the British who eventually assisted them in taking over what is now Saudi Arabia.
@rednekbreaka Assalamu Alaikum, It is interesting.Where did you get the information that his own brother called it Wahabiyya? It would be very helpful if you can provide the source of the information. Wassalam.
