Well, I suppose you should watch the whole movie, its a fairly fine implementation, although it still pales beside the genius of the book. Stuart Townsend as Lestat is arguably one of the best vampires on-scene ever.

The best part is the soundtrack tho', written by Jonathan Davis (Korn), featuring Disturbed, Static-X, Chester Bennington, Papa Roach, and Manson ofc (on the album, in the movie I think Davis sung all of 'em, not sure tho').

Wow, this rocks. I have not listened to Manson much since I was a teenager, but he still has it. I don't get why some critics dismiss him - everything he has made was at least good. He is a talented and unique artist with an uncanny ability to attract attention. Because he is just so good at being famous against opposition and the odds, some people accuse him of being all marketing or something, but that is clearly not the case. He just found an amazing formula for fame and executed it.
