I was 15 and saw this in the Theater with my grandmother. Thing is Edward and Jane are often forgotten in the line of history! This movie is pretty well written and filmed!

While I really enjoyed this movie when I first saw it, it was the soundtrack that has been haunting me for 25 years. I enjoyed watching the movie again, but this music and the part that is played in the last segment is what I keep coming back for.

I saw this movie when I was 12 years old, back in the sixth grade. Helena Bonham Carter was amazingly beautiful, and she is still amazingly beautiful today.

Their words mean nothing to me at all! I could never talk about politics and what not. It doesn't make any sense to me. I love this film! Bought it when I was seven or eight. I am now thirteen. : D

This was a great movie. Really enjoyed it. Great Cast. They did dress HBC in a lot of grey though! Like, we know, she's Lady Jane Grey, but did she really wear so many shades of grey!! LOL!

Recently read Alison Weir's 'Innocent Traitor'. Great book, hence now watching this. Wow!  HBC was great in this role and I didn't realise Patrick Stewart was in this movie. I adorre him. Great stuff!

@18andreab Omigod! So did I. It was such a relief to see Guilford as a likeable, not to mention cute, man, not the atrocity protrayed the novel. Such a powerful book. I liked the Lady Elizabeth, too, but not so much. I guess I knew more about Elizabeth's history, so I didn't care as much.

@xElenaAJx It's called Innocent Traitor; written by Alison Weir. Worth a read, trust me. One of the best historical fictions I've read, and I've read a lot of them. ;)

I saw this film when i was little and i've just read "The Innocent Traitor" by Alison weir which is all about lady Jane's life from her birth onwards it's a really great book, to those of you who like this film i suggest you read it you won't be disappionted.

I love this motion picture. I watch it all the time. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a history buff, and any period film is intriguing. THE DUCHESS for instanse, is pure genius. Keira Knightley as a fantastic actress, and I LOVE watching her films!

Jane Grey probably got the shittiest deal of anybody. She had a domineering and overtly abusive mother, an idiot of a father (the attack he led against Mary that forced her to have Jane executed), was forced into marrying an arrogant s.o.b, then again was forced into becoming queen against her better judgment, then paid the price w/ her life. All for nine (13 unnoficially) days of being Queen of England.

Although it's not accurate in some aspects, this movie is wonderful. I have it on DVD and it sees quite a few plays, though I wish the DVD version wasn't so dark.
