Well comedy that isnt vulgar or utilising sex alone is most often a culture intensive skit/sketch and therefore is more humourous to the relevent culture. What I find hilarious ie THE GAMES series parody isnt even mildly amusing and might come off as a doco to Americans. Yet I find Robin Williams, Stephen Wright funny as hell too - hmm maybe it is a complex combination of culture plus nature plus nurture comedy taste is personal not a gross generalisation of right or wrong, to each their own.
