@doodlemasterful I know! I hate it when people do that... It was their song first Matt covered it, what's the point in them covering a song that is already theirs =P
@doodlemasterful I hate matt cardle with a passion for covering and taking the credit for many of horror! people should know it's BIFFY's work!!!!!!!!
@randomwombat450 Well look at it this way, 95% of people watching this could well resent Matt Cardle covering Biffy's song (which, actually, there's nothing wrong with. The problem for me is when he changed the title, made the original more "pop-py" and then got far more recognition for his version than Biffy ever got for the original). BUT, potentially, lots of those same 95% might never have heard of Biffy before Matt Cardle - all publicity is good publicity right? :)
@MissNothing09 i saw an interview where he was talking about some of his stage injuries, one of which was a broken tooth. i wonder if that has anything to do with it??
@davyrocker01 I'm not doubting that it's good, it just seems a bit weirdly produced. It's more edited and fine-tuned and messed around with than the B-sides, but it's not quite as finely cut as, say, the over-produced album version of Many of Horror. I find it a bit weird, anyway.
Why wasn't this on Lonely Revolutions? There should be a bit more respect for the actual fans who buy actual CDs instead of giving people incentive to go the route of worthless downloads :(
@JoeDull You mean the codes of binary recorded on discs of plastic that are decoded by a CD player, or, more likely, a computer? I mean, it's not exactly vinyl. It's just plastic with invisible stuff on it, about as natural as... well, you haven't insulted me yet, so I'll hold my silence. At least through iTunes you're giving mother nature a break.
@TheNeutralFan Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I prefer to have a physical copy of the music I buy, including a disc I can play anywhere I like, the liner notes and artwork that represent all the album has to offer. You say that, but are vinyl records or computers any kinder to mother nature?
@JoeDull Fair enough, I know exactly what you mean. All I'm saying is that a CD isn't exactly physical either. And, ehm, in that last sentence, you pretty much stated what I was saying. I mean, vinyl's pretty much dead, so we can probably ignore it, but it's a wee bit nicer to Mother Nature to just run an immaterial copy of a song through a computer, than run a material piece of treated oil and metal through it. So yes, a computer IS kinder to Mother Nature than a CD.
@TheNeutralFan Well a CD definitely is physical, there's no doubt about that. While I will concede that one computer with thousands of CDs' worth of music is better for the environment than the actual CDs, it's not exactly as if they are consigned to landfill like, say, a plastic bag would be - they are preserved for long term use. A CD on my shelf is harming Mother Nature no more than my plastic garden chairs or drinking glasses.
@JoeDull Yes, but the initial forming of it IS harming Mother Nature, even if only a little. That's all the point I'm making. I have to say, this is quite a strange argument. Anyway, can we just agree to disagree?
Not according to the tracklist on their website. Pretty sure it's an itunes exclusive track.
It could be a secret track or something. But I didn't buy it, as I already have all the B-sides from their single EP's. So I don't know. but I doubt it.
@Enema27 It is itunes exclusive, its not on Lonely revolutions and not on Only revolutions when you buy it (as i did) its added when you but only revolutions on itunes as a 13th track
@StesperGuitar This song is also added in the CD/DVD Only Revolutions Deluxe edition at the "Photos" section of the dvd but you have to ripp the dvd to get the song.
The deluxe edition of Only Revolutions is worth, as it have a documentary about the making of the album.
this song is weeeeeeeeeeeeeell good!! shouldve been a single! is there any biffy video that doesnt include rants about their old stuff!? But their first album, which was best for me was totally different from the next just as they were different from the most recent two!! So we dont need to hear constantly that oh their new stuff nothing like the old stuff!! DONT CARE!! ITS ALL GOOD!! People like you cause road accidents and bowel cancer!
I don't particularly like it when bands change their style TOO dramatically, like Muse, but it's important to remember that this is simply Biffy experimenting. If they hadn't messed around you'd all be slagging them off for being unimaginative. I love Only Revolutions as much as any album, and in my opinion, they had exhausted the style of the Beggars Banquet albums, and I for one congratulate and encourage them on forging forward and making their own songs in their own style.
@TheNeutralFan Couldn't agree more, we should celebrate their old albums and their new albums, Biffy has evolved and - i believe - evolved into a better band than ever!
biffy have changed, but it sound's like a natural progresion, from puzzle, getting more "only revolution's". none of this selling out talk now:L. mon the biff
The one thing that separated Blackened Sky and other previous albums from "mainstream rock" was, I thought, it's off-beat style, unpredictability and addictingly complex melodies and riffs. I think that's what Biffy Clyro have kept consistent and, while their new stuff is really different, that common style that's exclusive to them is what makes the band so great.
im a new fan, but i really know that biffy are fucking awesome =) seriously theyre like the best band around apart from green day if you like my music genres =)

This is what I want the rest of OR to be like... this, Cloud of Stink, Golden Rule and Bubbles are what I call good, new, different Biffy.
They change with every album, but it seems like most of the good new stuff is hidden as B-sides or iTunes exclusives.
Help Me Be Captain is fucking excellent, but it changed so much for the final CD.
I hope Biffy don't hide the good stuff next time, and put it on the main album.
Don't go fully pop-rock Biffy... We know you can do better!
