Send me your email and I will send you the I dont know what happen to it. when I play the video on my comp it has full sound it may have ben the converter that I may have used.
hey, i want to do this to my 99 explorer xlt. i was wondering if you could help me out since you already did this and sounds like you are quite familiar with boosting. first of all, i want to do it as cheaply as i can. i want to run a twin turbo set up, i was planning on going to a junk yard or something and yankin on two turbos from two identical engines from 1.8-2.3 liters. probably volvos or some old mitsubishis bc i know they have decent turbos.
i was wondering if you upgraded the fuel pump, i think it only has the one in the tank right? do i need bigger injectors? if so how big? how much boost will my stock internals stand up to? how much power can my trans/ transfercase/ drivetrain hold up to? also what would be the cheapest easiest way to tune the ecu? fuel pressure regulator?
i guess the better question here is.....if you were going to do this as cheaply as you could how would you do it?
why did you use 1 turbo not 2? i thought two typically had better spool up?
sorry for the millions questions, i have been trying to get this information on my own by researching boosting but im just not getting the information and answers i need to feel confident that when i finish the job everything will come together correctly.
Hi Jrowe6 Yes we can turbo a twin turbo set up on your 99 Explorer. The kits that we do are complete with every thing installed less the fuel side for 4599.00. The fuel will run you about 1500.00 installed and that will have everything you need to suport the Hp you are looking for. The fuel side has ( 50lbs inj's, 340 lph intank pump, Tuning software, and Fully tuned when you get it back. The turn around would be 7-10 bussines days.you can call us if you have any more ? 704-746-8966
Yes we can do a kit for your 2.3 ranger. the kit for your truck will be 4500.00 for the complete kit installed with tune. what year Ranger do you have and how much Hp are you looking to put out.
Ya she runs very good I have had it up to 160 mph so far but my goal is to do 200 mph in it when I finish tuning it here in the next few weeks. She made 426 rwhp and 398 rwtq when I had the 30 lbs inj in it. Now I have 50 lbs in it have to some fine tuning on it she is pig righ anything pass 3 psi of boost just need to get time to do it. I have a shop that makes custom Turbo kits for any car or truck here in Mooresville NC . its called Turbo Performance Specialties 704-746-8966
1. Do you have a kit for the OHV explorer for a moderate boost? I was able to push about 178rwhp all motor. A) Yes we do make one for the OHV motor thats what's in my Explorer is the OHV motor. For 1 turbo set-up its 3499.00 installed and for a twin turbo set-up it's 4299.00 installed.
B) Well I know she a box on wheels but she a round box lol. I do have it lowered alot so its in the air so high with all the drag. c) I had the same 178 out of mine also.
Video camera FAIL damnit I wanted to hear it too invest in a camera that actually records volume for more than 1 second

i love your xsport. I have one myself (1996)
When i have enough to spend on the turbo kit, you'll definitely be the first I contact.
What kind of bumper do you have on? Do you know where I can get one for mine?
Thanks man .. Much appreciated.

2. What are you going to do about the aerodynamic problems? Hitting 200 in that seems like it would pose a problem.
