It’s called change, and yes if you want to continue to make money you need to do just that! what was old is just that as well, to stay competitive in this environment one needs to remain diverse to new ideas and challenges. I like dubstep and I like korn, but the mix should get a little bit better so it feels better... (like 2:14 which was actually pretty good)

Agreed 100%. Every band has its legendary albums and the first four fall into that category for Korn, but that doesn't mean anything they released thereafter is automatically inferior. They have remained just as innovative and have matured, grown and continually evolved over the years. People want the same album over and over again and it drives me crazy. Korn III, which I loved, had the same vibe as the first two albums and people still bitched.
