  • I don't get it... The sideways impact on the water whilst sitting in a sea kayak might have been extremely dangerous for your back, why did you do it? I'm happy for you that you are ok.

  • Big F'in Deal, I do 30 ft seal launches in my whitewater play boat all the time; and rolling is as easy as falling off a log, even in class IV whitewater.

  • this is shit, its not stupid its really safe and you have to do this type of thing all the time in whitewater/freestyle kayaking the only diffrence is we do it right. if you want to see a really good crazy bit of kayaking type 'ben marr bear slide'

  • I assure you ... I am not a "retard". While I label this stunt as "stupid", it was very carefully carried out. I checked the landing before I did this. Also, there was a team of spotters just off camera. So if something did happen, help was seconds away. This did really hurt ... but the pain was because of my body slamming into the kayak which due to bouancy pretty much stopped moving shortly after hitting the water.

  • wear a helmet retard

  • Failed

  • @IronManDan1385 How was that a fail? Everything went more or less to plan ...

  • WHHHYY?! lol

  • shame

  • shit myself lol

  • Looks like something we would do. How bad was it?

  • So, you suggest one should have a reliable roll before attempting the "Dock Launch" entry method? :-) - Dan, OOPS Member

  • I wasn't sure if he was coming up when the question was posed. That was funny!
