I don't think Gurmeet looked bad in PPAW at all. He does look better now, but in his PPAW days he looked more sweet and innocent. I liked him better then at least than with the poofy hair he used to have, lol. In Ramayan he was very handsome because of the divine look they gave him, but offscreen during his Ramayan days he did not look that good, lol!

Sita then rejects all the portraits as unsuitable, unaware because she dare not look, that every portrait was of Sita, Lord Ram's dearest beloved. That scene which Sita related in captivity, had me wipe tears, The episode with Shabree patiently laying flowers on her path, that scene nearly lost my vision! I cried till they were bloodshot! The total dysfunctionality of Ramayan!

Aaaah, you're so right! The Ram and Sita scenes in Ramayan were way beyond adorable. I loved Gurmeet and Debina's chemistry in it! I don't think any other two people could have played the roles so well. Gurmeet and Debina made you feel like you were really watching the divine jodi of Ram and Sita in reality. I was feeling empty for so many days when the show ended....even now I do, sometimes. :(
