The writers really turned Annie and Lucy into shrews as the years went on..in real life, neither Eric nor Lucy's husband would've stayed with women who treated them so badly. ;)
@shegotyagood oh i know i've seen every episode of this show.....she definitely got mean during menopause, and as for lucy, she's always annoyed me....to me she just seemed sooooo whiny. seriously idk how eric and kevin put up with them and their petty jealousy and hang-ups for all of those years lol
@TheSassy2005 This is 100% true!!!! It's like her hormones gradually got out of control. The penultimate moment was when she took child abuse to a whole new level and banished Matt, Lucy, Simon, and Ruthie to the garage because she treated the selfish brat Mary like the prodigal daughter! I loved Annie during the first two seasons of the show, but after the twins arrived, she became such a mean, nasty, petty jerk!!!!
