Thanks for posting this I've beaten this game twice and I could'nt get to the bonus level because I did'nt get the colectors edition (note I bought this game for PC at Target). But anyway thanks again for posting.
Thanks a lot for the review. I bought the cheaper version without the bonus. And the end was a serious cliffhanger... But this end is really disappointing. I already red, that the bonus version is not worth its money. It is good to see it with my own eyes. Now, I am perfectly fine with the rather open end from the non-bonus version. And I can continue to beat my playtime to under an hour.
Hey, I loved the videos and your little commentary. It made it alot more entertaining than just watching a soundless walkthough...
But I have one question: How do you think this game should have ended? Should Evalina stay with Erik and live happily ever after(ish) or should she actually get some sence knocked into her and use the dang gun on him and run for it?
@CelticTears101 Thank you so much! I'm very glad I was able to provide some entertainment :}
Personally, I think Erik deserves jack-diddly, and most certainly not a young woman completely ignorant of the conflict between him and her parents. It's actually one of the most morbid endings to anything I've ever played! She definitely should have found some way to escape, though I hear mystical limbo worlds can be tricky to exit XD
That was the biggest rip off for a game ending EVER! I mean seriously, we don't see his face? Evalina is stuck with him forever? And what the heck happened to Chritine and Raoul?
Also what doesn't make sense to me is, if Erik hates Raoul so much, how come Raoul gets a full coin, and Erik's coin is split in half. Wouldn't Raoul's coin be all broken like that? I mean, a coin in half is kinda worthless.... And where did he get those coins made anyway? Just some mindless drabble about that....
@gabby33384 It *was* ridiculous and disappointing, I agree. It had so much promise, and then it builds up only to fall flat on its "face" (that we never see XD). Christine and Raoul? I assume they're back in the real world grieving for their suddenly missing daughter. That would be normal, anyway.
As for the coin, it's probably because the Phantom has had all of this duality going on--dark half/light half for a few of the puzzles and the comedy and tragedy masks at one point.
@miep8675 There is! I've been having some trouble with videos taking a stupidly long time to process. It's up; Youtube is just still thinking REALLY hard about it. It should display soon.
Weren't both, the regular and bonus, endings the same?

The roses are a symbol in the movie. He always givs Christine a red rose with a black ribbon. I'm guessing thats why the roses are so big in the game
