Meanwhile in the real world..... outside of the Brussels propoganda machine, " Funds shun Europe as "no-go zone" after greek crisis" (todays Guardian newspaper). The German Handelsblatt newspaper called the bail-out "Europäische Heuchelei" (European hypocrisy). Only time will tell if the experiment works or not.

I don't know! But for a lot of the English a slow death is less painful then the change that would give their nation the chance to be a world player again!

As for us in Wales - it really all depends on Scotland; They're having a referendum for indepedance in 2010 and if they win it the Scottish government has a stated aim they want to get the Euro ASAP.... I can't see Scotland having the Euro but Welsh money continuing to be run by the Bank of England (without a single Welshman on the MPC).

if scottish keep the pound then england will have a heck of alot of power over them still.

Scottish Parliament is much more powerful than the welsh assembly anyway, the scottish were much more for devolution than the welsh, who only passed the yes vote in the devolution by about 52% and about half the population didn;t even care enough to vote!
