  • My only request is tabs pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

  • Awesome! I love how you really feel the music even as you demonstrate great technical capability--needless to say, I'm envious.

  • maybe its just the camera angle but when the video started playing I thought you looked like Quentin Tarantino playing.

  • great right hand technique!

  • Baritone ukes rule. All the kids out there that waste their time getting frsutrated with a g-tar would be better served starting with a uke. Just remain it petite Tenor G-tar. IMO Congrats.

  • Great. Are you in Greece, or NYC?

  • That was awesome. thank ya'

  • wow I bet he gets all the chicks in B.F.E

  • Cette chanson semble flamenco! Olé!

  • This actually IS Miserlou, the song made famous by Dick Dale. It's just not the same version he did. If you listen carefully, the melody starts at 0:14 in the lower strings. It's pretty clear at 0:26... you can hear the 2nd half of the "A" section. And at 0:39 you can hear the "B" section. Nice playing!

  • It is "Misirlou", not miserlou (Greek: Μισιρλού, "Egyptian Girl"; from Turkish Mısırlı, "Egyptian")

  • actually, the transcriptions may vary, especially considering that this song travelled through lots of different traditions ; miserlou is not an uncommon transliteration in the klezmer tradition, but as you point out misirlou as well as misirli are also both used.

  • i read this wrong, i thought it was misirlou by dick dale! still, your awesome!

  • avez-vous des onglets de cette chanson? si vous ne pourriez-vous me dire où ils sont? ou l'envoyer à moi?

  • sorry no tabs (that's tablature in french), but it is based on the klezmer Magen Avot scale with sometimes an augmented seventh note which makes it sounds more arabic ; to make it simpler : most of the song consists in playing the C minor scale over a G major chord.

  • hey, where can i find the tabs for this?

  • Pendant que tu joues, il y a un type qui se barre par l'escalier d'incendie avec la télé de ton voisin du dessus !

A part ça, tu connais la version de Dario Moreno, avec des paroles en Français ?

  • dude the bloody great escape is ganinon out side lol

  • never thought anyone could play a ukulele like that. it was great!

  • Aww, he wants to be a rockstar.

  • been there, done that

  • nice come back, and brilliant playing!

    Have you got any tabs?

I would love to learn this, as good as you

  • nice but this is not misirlou... and am not referring to dick dale's version...

  • you're right this is not misirlou, this is Miserlou - which is kind of the same (bad transliteration) except that "Miserlou" is the name under which it was taught to me, and not from the version by Mr Dale neither - but anyway, I'd be glad to read a more detailed explanation !

  • Yeah Crazy Man!

  • Kdus le roi !

  • this absolutely rocks! have you ever jammed with a tabla player? you ought to consider it..it would be great!

  • hay man you got a burglar on the stairs or a uke pervert spying on your tabs

  • wow thats amazing, how do u play it, coz i also play the ukuklele.

  • Wow. Excellent strumming.

  • that was amazing nice video

  • You're really good! How long have you been playing for?

  • I liked the guy going down th fire escape or whatever that was. Nice instrument. I want one now! :D

  • great
