How old is she? She is beautiful. My barn does not have stalls similar to these stalls , they are inclosed. Do you think a small corral would work as well?
Why wasnt she halter broke? I halter broke my foal 2 days after she was born. She had a halter with a cotton lead hanging from it. Now she is the best!
That makes sense. A lot of people say its not good for horses to be "imprinted" and that you should not touch them till they are 3 and ready to be broke. I dissagree. Thanks for the clearing.
ive heard some ppl say they dont like imprinting becuz it makes the horse less sensitive when starting under saddle. But ive found this to be not true at all, i bought an imprinted freisianXthoroughbred weanling (i ride english eventing) and have had no problems with him under saddle. hes just as sensitive as my clydesdaleXpaint who i also bought as a weanling in the same year; she was a rescue PMU foal who was never handled before i got her. both are great, despite their different beginings.
yea she is beautiful, the horse is pretty too. thanks for sharing this, it helps out alot. on the horses thought process.

I should have mentioned that my friend had just bought her from a ranch where she never was trained.
