I abolutely LOVE this video! It truly portrays what the 1st and 2nd gen. of Pinoy migrant workers had to go through in the late 1920's and 1930's. I know about the hardships they went through like the discrimination & the prejudice. My dad lived through all of that and I was fortunate enough for him to educate me and share those stories with me. He passed at the age of 93 in 2002. AWESOME VID! I'M PROUD TO BE PINAY!!!

Cool vid. Great attention to detail. From the alfalfa harvesting instruments, to the dance hall w/the 10cent white girls. I esp. liked that recreation of that 1930's Stockton photo that read "absolutely no filipinos allowed". Too bad you couldn't have worked in a balisong stabbing over a dance with a white girl, to represent how often we've had to step up, and how we kept our fighting arts real close. ;-)

I abolutely LOVE this video! It truly portrays what the 1st and 2nd gen. of Pinoy migrant workers had to go through in the late 1920's and 1930's. I know about the hardships they went through like the discrimination & the prejudice. My dad lived through all of that and I was fortunate enough for him to educate me and share those stories with me. He passed at the age of 93 in 2002. AWESOME VID! I'M PROUD TO BE PINAY!!!
