So much for what people who know a little about science think.

Imagine this scenario:

An athlete uses a huge staircase in a multi story building for exercise.

He does a series of random jumps on each step and then goes up a step, does some more jumps, goes up another step, and so on. The height of some of his jumps is more than the height of one step. If you take instantaneous measurements of his altitude, you can find two figures that indicate he is going down. Look at the graphs again & think.

Sulphates and sulpher dioxide is a biproduct of burning dirty coal, and is what creates "smog".

Climate Change refers to a trend over decades, not years. And the trend is one of warming. The amount of warming also exceeds the rate of warming at ANY point in history. Yes the planet has been warmer and also colder, but it took thousands of years for natural processes to achieve those changes. The RATE of changes to climate we are seeing is UNNATURAL.

that is an utter lie! The medieval period was far warmer than today, furthermore there is plenty of scientific data that says we are not experiencing any more than normal temp variation. The computer models that predict global warming theory ARE NOT coming to fruition either. Many parts of the northern hemisphere for example are experiencing very cold start sto Autumn/ with many records being set in the USA for snow fall and low temperatures. Its been the 3rd successive year of such temps!

Are you Daft JBMaximise? I am referring to the RATE of warming. Do you know what the rate of warming is? Number of degrees per year. I am fully aware that the medieval period was warmer than it is today, but it took a long time (i.e. centuries) to build up to those temperatures ( = slow, natural rate). The RATE of warming we have seen over the last 100 years is FASTER than at anytime in the last 800,000 years.

Snowfall and cold weather is just that, weather! Not to mention that the opposite has been happening in the southern hemisphere with record warm and dry winters in Australia!!! And these record setting weather events actually further support that Climate change is happening at a faster rate than previously thought, further supporting that the RATE of climate change is unnatural and is of concern.

Why wont the IPCC scientists allow external bodies to test and review their global warming models? talk about cover up!, there is no PUBLIC SCIENTIFIC debate on climate change in Oz, just derision to anyone who dares question it!. There are more than 32,000 scientists who refute AGW but you barely hear a whisper in our media.
