Great aircraft. We have a saying in US Army aviation, there are those that flew UH1s and those that wish they had. I have about 5000 hours in UH1s. There will never be another like it, a classic.

Jesus, did that bring back some memories! There is nothing in the world that sounds like a Huey coming in. People on video looked like they had a good time. But FIDDLE was right, there's no puckered assholes sittin on yer steel pots hopin you dont catch a Nathaniel Victor round thru yer ass! LOL. This chopper could do it all. It needs a OLIVE DRAB paint job instead of the glossy paint scheme--otherwise too cool! When I was in the Army I could hear them long before I could see them (I was an Artilleryman in those days)- - those Lycoming engines and the wop- wop-wop-wop of the rotors was a distinctive sound unlike any other. You could never mistake the sound for any other type of chopper. To this day, I always snap my head around, in great admiration, to see where that classical (read iconic) sound is coming from!
