    i used jamacian jerk marinade and jamacian jerk dry spices and sprayed it with natural apple juice mixed with beer...and had a hickory chunk and a bowl for vapor in the choals...it was amazing!

    it was also my first 4 hour smoking time on my weber!!! im going to do it again this weekend!!!

  • You guys helped make my my family and friends very happy this Memorial day. Normally, our small grill wouldn't be able hold many racks however with this technique I was able to triple or even quadruple the amount of ribs. However, I did a sort of green chili thai coconut marinade with a pineapple glaze. Thank you Pit boys!

  • I've been reading some things saying that man became smarter than other animals because he started cooking his food. This is an awesome video.

  • Does it taste better when you barbecue over charcoal rather then using propane?

  • @MrBlair56 YES, indeed it does. Propane is actually "liquid propane".. also known as LP. The very name of liquid propane signifies moister air than charcoal. So the meat will definitely carmalize more by dry heat. It is something like 1/2 to 1 cup of water that is released during cooking when using propane every 10 minutes, depending on BTU's of the grill. Also propane needs more air circulation, so although you can "smoke" with them, a charcoal grill smokes better.

  • I copied that recipe to a T and it came out very well everyone loved them!!! But i found if you keep the fat and throw it on top every once and a while it and in a spray bottle use Jack 24 makes it taste better, try it out tastes amazing!

    i made alot of ur meals already but one thing holding me back from trying the longer cook time ones is i dont understand the how to hold the right temp on the charchol for a good period of time yet....so do you guys add charchol when ur doin the 2-3 hours ribs??

  • @caliwowie You can add more charcoal, or do what is called the "Minion Method" Google that.
