  • whered u get th ribbon

  • Thanks so much! Love it! My baby girl is just 2 months...but I can't wait for her to wear one of these!! :D

  • This is so adorable. My daughter is only 10 months and her hair isnt long enough to wear one of these but you can best believe i will be making these :) Great video!

  • I was wondering where you bought your hot glue gone at. I love that yours has the really skinny tip on the end and have been looking for one like that for forever.

  • @rabrp82 Hobby Lobby! I LOVE it!

  • I love this I want to make some for my nieces. I dont have a sewing machine though do you think i would be able to hand sew them?

  • @Baagock333 I would just skip the sewing step all together. I have done this several times. Just make sure to pull the zip tie really tight and leave out any super thin ribbon!

  • These Are So Cute iThinkk Imma Make Some For My Liddo Cousinns Thanks For Thee Idea.

    Very Easy Video

  • @559Chubz Hooray! Can't wait to see them!

  • This was wonderful, I just made my first pony-o for my daughter, I hope she will like it.

  • @spiesc I would love to see it!

  • thank you so much my daughter is excited to get some made...

  • Have you ever tried putting the pony holder under the zip tie ? Seems that way there is no way it would ever cone off. Just a thought.

  • @MsShelleydavidson I have, but it usually pulls the pony o apart-- like, it rubs against the zip tie. You could try it, though!

  • sorry just read some of the other comments about the pony tail and the plastic tie. My question on that is answered, but can you answer my other question? Thanks in advance (arily83)

  • These are so cute! I have one question though...Could you have put the ponytail band in before the plastic tie? Wouldnt that be more secure? Just curious. Also what size of ribbon (lengthwise) would you use for a 3yr old that has only shoulder length hair.. (her ponytail would be to her neck more or less.) Or does her hair have to be longer for this. Thanks this is awesome.

  • @arily83 What I would do is-- Probably about 12 inches, then it would only be about six inches long. That's what I do for the shorter hair!

  • I will post them for you to see for sure! What temp do you bake at? I wanna try to do some korker pony-o's too!

  • @lennyjaylala I bake at about 250!

  • Sooo cute and awesome tutorial! Can't wait to start making these!

  • @lennyjaylala Thanks! I hope to see them!

  • so cute and adorable! :)

I'll make some for my niece...

    Thanks a bunch!

  • @anumkareena I would love to see them when you're done!

  • Soooo super cute!!!! I wanna try this for my daughter!!!!

  • @acnluvslml oh show me for sure!

  • Can I like buy that from you? Its so good! I made one but it didn't look so good and I didn't hav as good colors as that! Great tutorial!

  • @katie123454321100 heh-- if I started selling bows, then I wouldn't have any fun making them :)

  • thankyou ! (:

  • one of the ribbons is curly , how did you make it curly !

  • @Candyycakess I used a wooden rod and wrapped the ribbon around it, then I baked it in the over for about twenty minutes. :)

  • i love hobby lobby!!!!

  • why not put the pony tail holder in the zip tie?? Is there a reason!! Thanks for the video very cute!!

  • @LILLIETALOVE I didn't do that because it usual ends tubbing against the ponytail holder and breaking it. :)

  • Thank you for making this video I was trying to figure out a way to coordinate my daughters' hair accessories and with an age gap of almost 7 years the big boutique bows don't always go over well with my eldest lol Now I can make a bow for one and a pony-o for the other!!

  • @jhill830 oh my! That will be adorable!

  • So super cute can't wait till my lil girl grows some hair!! =)

  • @ale80hernandez heh-- it took mine FOREVER to get hair!

  • Do you have to have a zip tie or is there something else you could use instead?

  • @Luckygreencarebear I use embroidery thread, and rap it 5+ times. Works just as good

  • @98tillforever yeah lots of people use embroidery thread or dental floss. :)

  • I think I will make these for the girls on my volleyball team. I don't think I will make them with so much ribbon though. (:

  • @ritzbitz97 oh that will be cute!

  • I've been looking for something like this everywhere for my son's school and decided to make something. Your video is a lifesaver!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • My sister made me one that had k=like peace signs and lots of neon and rainbow colors and she made me one for my school colors they are awsome!!

    :)

  • @babyt1030 awesome!

  • the hotglue might not hold it that well x.x so i recommend putting the pony tail in the sip tie xD

  • @Kawaii0Kohana zip* <.<

  • @Kawaii0Kohana if you put it in the tie, then what happens is the ponytail holder breaks from rubbing up against it. :)

  • @Kawaii0Kohana No, don't do that. The hot glue does hold it, and if you put it in the zip tie-- then it will break the rubber band. :)

  • Love this! Thanks for sharing.

Just wondering if there's a reason why you don't zip tie the pony tail hold with the ribbon? Seems like you could skip the hot glue then, maybe?

  • You could put the pony tail holder in the zip tie if you sew the ribbon that way it would hold better. (:

  • i am new at this have any suggestions

  • Loved this! I am going to give the sewing the ribbon idea a try. I have always done these using embroidery thread instead of the sewing/zip tie. It works, but it's a handful to work with.

  • @ablemi4717 yeah, I've done the embroidery thread as well... but the sewing is SO much faster :)

  • How well does the pony band stay? To me it seems like it would come apart just trying to tie it into my daughters hair. So the glue must be very durable?

  • @Turbomoma I've never had a problem... I should do a video with how to put them in though... basically you start by putting the ribbon part where you want it and then just twist the ponytail holder. :)

  • Never would have thought of this but it's a great idea! My daughter refuses to let me do anything with her hair but pony tails and this is a way for me to take the "blah" out of a boring pony! Was wondering if anyone has tried using embroidery thread in place of the zip tie? Just a suggestion. Love your idea and video! Thanks!

  • I liked it very easy to make just wanted to c it on someone after it was done

  • yes nothing can be that easy, especially when crafting!! if it was easy then everyone would be doing it!!

  • oh yeah that would suck, plus if you are wearing them in a cold climate the zip ties tend to break, i use them at work, just thought it might work out. i tried one and it was kind of bulky so bad suggestion on my part. love your pony holders!!!

  • @younkinsm Yeah, I tried it too hoping that I wouldn't even have to glue! How cool would THAT have been???

  • @TheJamieharrington Ugh! I wish! That would be AWESOME!

  • Respond to this video...

  • @TheNextBigStars1 oh! Let me know how it goes!!

  • Love the Pony O...What is the biggest ribbon you have used?

  • @MonicaPerez79035 I've used GIANT Ribbon, like 3" even. They turn out WAY cute!

  • i love the pony o you made....did u use hot or cool glue gun?? as well as the rest of your bows?? i like glue guns, but when you use to much,, you can see throuh...what do you prefer?

  • @86nicolek i just use the hot stuff, I usually burn the heck out of my hands, but that's okay. It's all in the name of cute bows!

  • Beautiful ribbons, I do tutorials myself and never would've thought of it! Thanks for the gorgeous tip!

  • @hairbowgirl099 Thanks! :)

  • I have a question, does it matter how Many different pieces of ribbon you use?

  • @Ifriends5 The most I've ever used is 18, I think it just depends on how thick you want it to be.

  • I LOVE these bows my mom makes regular like boutique bows and I loveee them and theseee! It seems like I could make them and I'm only 12!!

  • @Ifriends5 Exactly! They're WAY easy!!

  • OMG I really love these they are so AWESOME. . . like a party in your hair!!!

  • @vgirlprincess Thanks! They look SO CUTE-- everyone notices them!!

  • Thanks for the video, I am so excited to make these for my daughter to wear! :) keep up the good work!!!!

  • @kimawilson You're Welcome! I'd love to see them!

  • I LOVE YUUR COLORS OF RIBBON.

  • @tylerpitzer2125 Thanks!

  • Thanks for sharing! These are adorable!

  • @aheart4praise You're welcome!

  • Hey I have one step you might think of doing, that is to zip tie the ponytail holder in with the ribbons, then your ponytail holder will never come off, just my 2 cents though. Thanks for the video, they are super cute!!

  • @younkinsm I actually tried this, but the ponytail holders tend to break. Argh :)
