You guys need to know, theres a rumor that Annette may do some more stuff with this band. I am hoping this does not mean she did not work out on the new Nightwish album. Tuomas decided that Imaginarium would be in the "Tarja" style and Annette was being voice coached last I heard so she could do this. That was a couple of months ago. I would not want to be in those shoes if 2 metal divas get trashed by this band. So lets be hoping for all good news here. Marco got TAROT back together.

anette's place was here. definitely. she fits here perfectly, this is her style. her voice is great for this kind of singing. tarja wouldn't fit here, for example, as anette doesn't fit in nightwish...

You can't compare this with Nightwish or Tarja, AA are an AOR or melodic rock group and as such this is pretty much perfection in that genre of music.

yeah, nightwish are symphonic power metal, u cant compare them, but these are good. I think anette is a great asset to nightwish, and so was tarja, but they were different. they were both good assets to the band and there are differences, but she still fits in with them. i'd still prefer ever dream to master passion greed, or the kinslayer to bye bye beautiful, they still have their good/crap songs, they just sound different.

Uh no it is possible to increase your vocal range. It depends on the warmup habits and if the singer sings correctly or not. It IS possible. And Anette's a Mezzo-Soprano. AND again it is possible to increase vocal range over a period of time. :) Explain how Mariah Carey was able to hit Minnie Riperton's notes. xD

u don't increase it u just work on it...that's what mariah did...u can change ur voice from alto to mezzo-soprano only with physical change and believe anette is a bit just a lil bit old to have that physical changes

u for example may have 2 octaves vcal range but u can control only the 1,5 octave and the notes of the 0,5: u can't reach them easy or u can't reach them what ur going to do?u go and take vocal lessons and u have good warmup habits(as you said and i agree)finally i think that anette is sopranothat needs lessons...but not sure
