Glad I watched it before I bought it, nothing like I was expecting real, the only exciting part is in thus trailer , it was a real snoozer movie, won't watch again.

Watched it last night. If you think it's slow, you have no appreciation for suspense. This film made me nervous as hell with tension. Great performances all the way around. Highly recommended.

If you want to watch that type of film, go rent the Fast and Furious franchise. Take this movie movie for what it is, an art house, dark action drama that wants nothing to do with the comparison to typical Hollywood films. The storytelling through little dialogue and the suspense that's built through that is amazing. The directing is great and the film is superb.

Loved this movie...the 'limited' dialogue..the character development...the interaction between the driver and the woman and child...brilliantly done...
Honestly let people say what they want about the movie. It was artistically done with themes that ran deep into the dialogue. While the plot may not have been a total mindfuck-awesome-fightclub style, the movie's intricate and subtle character development was incredible.
It's more of a European/Indie style of film, not a Transformers non stop action film. Just unfortunate not all Americans are literate enough to understand the scorpion and frog theme
Don't listen to the sheep that think this film is garbage. I assure you it's not. It tried to capture the loneliness of living outside the law, while at the same time conveying a profound picture of humanity in its extremes. I'll definitely watch it again to get all of the little stuff I missed. And of course, as far as the visuals go, it was directed beautifully.

Honestly let people say what they want about the movie. It was artistically done with themes that ran deep into the dialogue. While the plot may not have been a total mindfuck-awesome-fightclub style, the movie's intricate and subtle character development was incredible.
It's more of a European/Indie style of film, not a Transformers non stop action film. Just unfortunate not all Americans are literate enough to understand the scorpion and frog theme

@syafiqjabar Drive, from a director's point of view, was meant to "Strip away the frills and clichés of the action drama until all that’s left is its diamond-hard core." It tried to capture the loneliness of living outside the law, while at the same time conveying a profound picture of humanity in its extremes. I'll definitely watch it again to get all of the little stuff I missed. And of course, as far as the visuals go, it was directed beautifully.
