I'm Latina and whenever I see that the xenophobic anti-immigrant protesters have a token Latino, I just stare and think, "WHY? Why would you join them? They're just using you to steal legitimacy for their argument." Whenever the news cameras come around, it's always the token Latino that gets to speak. Because obviously he proves that their movement isn't in any way a cultural fight against The Other. It's about issues! Ha.

Also, about the suspect on the news. Yup. I know that feeling, too.

Actually to me the media and white people who own the media,lol such as viacom and bet(they were bought by white people, noooooo!),mtv etc. Eversince white people bought bet, they have been making shows like american gangster and other shows that I wish were not there that completely ruin us.

So the crazy people are the people on the media that try to brainwash everyone who watches tv to make them think a certain way and control them.

I totally know how you feel. When I heard about the Virginia Tech shooting I was praying for the victims' families...and hoping the killer wasn't black. May seem racist...but what was really racist were the jokes and jeers my friend and I heard when we passed people in the hall following the aftermath of the VT shootings(my friend is Vietnamese).
