True, that's why it went 7 games. Being in the World Series for the 1st time for a team like the Rays must've been a real hard experience for them. I was watching some of the games and I heard the whole stadium chanting EVA to Longoria which was clearly a distraction. But if it was the Red Sox, playing at that little league ball park would've been much easier to handle than New York.
All that matters is now. The past doesn't mean shit because the game was a lot different back then the Phillies were just REALLY bad from 1888-1945, and being that you're a Red Sox fan, who waited 86 years before winning the WS in 2004, I wouldn't really brag. Our city is littered with Conference Championships, superstar athletes, and many stories of teams going to Finals but not being able to win it all. So why should Philly fans just settle for appreciating someone's ability, when they can't deliver a championship, when they don't perform when it matters most, and when other fraud teams in every sport go all the way?
As for Andy Reid, he's a good coach, but he's partially responsible for the Eagles losing the Super Bowl, with bad clock management.

True, that's why it went 7 games. Being in the World Series for the 1st time for a team like the Rays must've been a real hard experience for them. I was watching some of the games and I heard the whole stadium chanting EVA to Longoria which was clearly a distraction. But if it was the Red Sox, playing at that little league ball park would've been much easier to handle than New York.

All that matters is now. The past doesn't mean shit because the game was a lot different back then the Phillies were just REALLY bad from 1888-1945, and being that you're a Red Sox fan, who waited 86 years before winning the WS in 2004, I wouldn't really brag. The Red Sox and Phillies both have 2 championships in the past 28 years, and the Phils are primed to win more over the next 5 years because they have 2 MVPs on their team, a MVP candidate in Utley, and a future cy young pitcher, Hamels.
