Thank you for posting this video. I have never had to change lights on my 2007 Corolla S in the 5 years I've had it. I finally had to change the low beam headlights. I WAS able to do so, without disassembling the bumper, etc. I think this is largely in part to me having small girl hands :) Again Thank you SOOOO much!
Great video, thanks! I am actually just trying to replace the low beam headlamp on one side of my car. Likely I can just follow your instructions, then pop the separate lamp out and replace it. I kinda miss the old days when you just pulled a headlight out and replaced it, only a few quick steps and back on the road in 5 minutes...
@HuggiePampersBambino You should be fine and the air bags would only go off in the event of an accident. You should also disconnect the battery when working on your vehicle that will take to power from the sensor.
Thanks for posting this video!! I had to change out a headlight (the entire assembly) on my 2005 Toyota Camry, and this video was a helpful guide/reference. Although there are some minor differences between the Camry and the Corolla, the process was largely the same. Saved a lot of money by doing it myself, and I learned something new! :-)
Thank you so much for making this video. I just replaced the headlight in my 2006 Corolla with no issues and I'll definitely keep 1aauto.com in my bookmarks for any future part purchases.
Thank you so much for this video! I am really excited to begin doing work to my corrola '07! I had a stroke of luck when I came across this video! :)) I will be sure to look up your site and do business with you in the future. Great detail and time spent to explain how to accomplish this step accurately! Thank you so much again for working on the corrola '07!! :)
@GhostReconRepublic I agree! Finding this vieo was so helpful, exactly what I was looking for for my 2004 Corolla, and I think it also serves as a great promo for the 1AAuto site and their staff. It is, indeed, a sample like this that make me want to buy the products & services of such a company.
@drywater2k Charges can vary but the book lists this a a 2 hour repair. Depending on location labor is $50-$100 per hour so $100-$200 in labor plus the price of the light. They will most likely charge you %50-%100 more than our website for the light.
Thanks for posting. Was helpful to me. Much appreciated.

Is there a way to adjust the up/down on the headlights?
manhoot 1 week ago
@manhoot On the backside of the headlights there should be a couple of adjusting screws to accomplish this.

Is this at all comparable to replacing the headlight assembly on a 1998 Corolla LE?
ArtsyChipmunk 1 year ago
@ArtsyChipmunk Have not had a 98 apart so I can't say 100% but I believe it is a similar process.

Can you simply replace the bulbs and not the entire assembly?
lasdlt 1 year ago
@lasdlt Yes you can just replace the bulb this video is intended to help you replace the whole assembly if yours is broken or cloudy and dim.
