  • If you have a problem with the psychological concept that we are products of our environment, maybe you'll like the philosophical flavor better. It's called determinism and it's why it's impossible to cast moral judgement on human behavior.

  • Moving away from judgement, and into understanding of human behavior is the critical element to elevating human consciousness and ensuring our survival. People do not feel safe to explore new ideas when they face judgement and degradation. I see a lot of that here and in society. Insults and ego battles block learning and perpetuate a climate of divisiveness and hostility. It will be compassion, born of insight into human motivation that will elevate our society, not ridicule and condemnation.

  • @whistlersmother1 His wife is a jew. are you one of those stupid people that generalizes all jews as bad? There's good and bad people in each group. Anyways I research most of the stuff hear and in all honesty he exaggerates some stuff but he's dead right other times.

  • Peter Broseph my man!

  • Epic show right here.

  • Glad to hear Peter Joseph talking to a man with very similar views :) I hope for a strong alliance between collapsenet and the zeitgeist movement :)

  • VIBRATIONS??? Prophecies? WTF?

  • @5m1nutes Check out the movie "The Quickening", that's what he's talking about. I personally think it's pseudoscience, but I probably haven't done as much research as Rupert has on it.

  • "They are Misleading You" Watch That!

  • @TZMOfficialChannel (I'd like the following questions answered by Peter Joseph.) Is your support for Ron Paul (as you had non-chalantly shown in your 2nd Zeitgeist film, "The Addendum"), the REAL reason for the breakup with Jacque Fresco (is it that he didn't want to advocate ANY candidate, & YOU did)? Has this been your REAL agenda for your films???

  • Here's a brief glimpse of Ron Paul's policies:

    alternet.org/teaparty/152192/5_reasons_progressives_should_treat_ron_paul_with_extreme_caution_--_%27cuddly%27_libertarian_has_some_very_dark_politics/?page=entire

  • CONT'D

Limit the power of gov't & the wealthy/powerful will rush to fill the vaccuum. A better solution instead of trying to weaken gov't or prove that it's ineffective like W did (see Brownie, appointment to FEMA), demand professionalism. Pay for good talent. Limit the influence of $. The military aside, every advanced country has a LARGER gov't than we do, they all have full or near full health coverage, better public education, better healthcare!

  • CONT'D...

Kill the Fed? Does Paul know that b4 the Fed & the regulations enacted during the Depression, the economy suffered many more ups & downs, panics & recessions? The small gov't crowd is against Dodd/Frank. Let Wall St. run rampant again (we've seen what that's done). The small gov't crowd points to things the gov't does which are stupid or wrong. Yes, like anything humans do, this happens, but you can never measure something against perfection, which does not exist...

  • @wouldLOVEaRBEbut wow, the fed is the institution of wall street, but just ignore that......

  • The "small gov't" crowd r really shills 4 corporate & powerful interests who don't want our representatives (the "gov't" is not a foreign power imposing itself on us) passing laws & regulations that protect citizens. Some things Ron Paul says betray a complete lack of understanding of economics. We know what unfettered capitalism brings us - the age of robber barrons, horrible working conditions, & huge disparities of wealth...

  • Geez I wish that Ruppert guy would let Peter talk more.........

  • I listen to Alex Jones and I love the Zeitgeist Movement, Alex doesn't care about anything else but this country and his mind is centered on that. Does that make him a bad person? No. TZM cares about the planet as a whole and sees beyond all the isms which I like. But at least all 3 agree on something, to start to change the system we must support Ron Paul!

  • Michael Rupert promotes that fear mongering bullshit artist called Dutchsinse on his website. I question his credibility.

  • 26:00 The concept of Jubilee that he is speaking of is a year when all slaves are set free and all financial debts are forgiven. According to Wikipedia this occurred every 25-50 years. Wikipedia also says that often in order for these debts to be forgiven one had to go on a pilgrimage.

  • Ruppert cuts guests off quite a bit, but otherwise a great podcast.

  • Finally, seems like Collapse.net and Zeitgeist with USTransition are starting to recognize themselves as being allies. That's great and promising. Good to see Peter and Michael finding common language.

  • Let the thousand voices become one

  • If we had the resources and the energy, corporations would ultimately develop technologies to replace humans in every conceivable avenue. Even in creative thinking trough artificial intelligence. We would not be needed for anything.

Super AI pursuing the profit motive is the stuff of nightmares.

The end result of our path, if it was ever to be realised, was the complete irrelevance of humans.

Why not put the machines to serve humanity instead? Where would we need money then?

  • Brilliant talk, thanks a lot!

  • thanks fellas. i enjoyed that and got alot out of it.

Mike. the movie collapse i bought and have since loaned it out to other people in the hope that they will in turn spread the word about peak oil and the collapse of civilization as we know it.

i saw the truth and lies of 911 for the first time only a week ago and will encourage others to look at it.

Peter. your movies are very well done and educational and cant wait for beyone the pale.

that's all the text i have room for.

    thanks

  • thanks for the upload!

  • Push people push.....Thanks to all

  • My view on climate change is not based on values.

  • My country is the planet and my religion is to promote the well-being of my species.

  • I wanted to hear Peter's view on Anonymous

  • @Groty Peter made a comment once that Anonymous is a good idea, but horrible social platform. Overall, he's not for their approach.

  • Comment removed

  • @Groty I know. Me too... Damn!

  • Excellent show. Enjoyed the topics on police and military especially, interesting perspective.

  • If striving to end the debt, create abundance for all, ending world hunger, ending poverty, creating free abundant energy, and helping to create a better standard of living for all people is considered to be wrong, than I don't wanna be right!

    long live the human race!

    The Zeitgeist Movement FTW!

  • Spread the reality that is our world.

  • Just can't have enough of Peter.

One hour is too little time...

  • Porterville,Central California supports the Zeitgeist Movement.

  • view counter stuck at 301??

  • what was the coordination issue which Peter didn't want to talk about??.. can anyone post the link?

  • "Science has it benefits I do not deny that, but the risks are far greater than most people seem to realise."

This is, hands down, one of the dumbest comments I've ever read on YouTube... ever. Read the quote and just let it sink it.

  • @shade1978x

Aren't you just disgusted by that level of ineptitude? Fuck, that's how corruption is so successful. Idiots are in excess!

  • "Money/market" is ROOT of problems, how do we:

    1. stop corruption caused by profit motive?

    2. ensure everyone has minimum necessities?

    ANSWER

    1. FREELY Share ALL resources & knowledge worldwide, NO more money/property

    2. Use LATEST technology to create an ABUNDANCE of all our needs, NO more waste/theft

    3. Automate/localize ALL production and distribution, NO more central control/wage slavery

  • I would love to see TZM and the Venus Project Joining up again!

  • i've read a lot of comments here that are evidence of the psychological points made by TZM...

also the scientific method should not be confused with the scientific establishment. they are not the same.

  • @thealieneye What's puzzling is that the first people to overlook this psychological phenomena are the ones suffering from it, and don't realize that they are the source of the problem the Zeitgeist movement points out.

  • Like this video and let's see if the view counter is stuck at 301. I bet it is!

  • @warpigsinfin it's been 4 hours since you made that comment and it's still 301... so.... yeah lol

  • @warpigsinfin Oops.Guess not....

  • @warpigsinfin @warpigsinfin the view counter sticks at 301 for a bit when someone tries to artificially raise the views.

there's a glitch, or it may be a built-in code to stop people from artificially raising their own view counts -- in fact the latter scenario seems a lot more likely. i know this, because i made a few video with a friend and we noticed that every time we refreshed the video it counted as another view. cont...

  • @warpigsinfin cont... so, being the 'honest' comedy goofballs that we are, we sat there and kept on making the counter go up. well, it got stuck at 301 and stayed there for a few days. it eventually corrected itself after a couple of months. we don't get tons of views, so it took a while to get past 301 in the real world. i did it a couple of times on a couple of different videos, just to be certain and the same thing happened every time. why 301? who knows?

  • Comment removed

  • @warpigsinfin i meant to say a few months the first time, not a few days. we're not very popular, so it takes quite awhile to amass that many views that quickly for us. if only we were funnier... ; )

  • if i ever see a cat jumping 8 feet in the air, ill shit my pants...

    - all around good ponts

  • All Alex Jones does is steal other people's work then distort the message to serve his own aims. AJ is vicious and cut throat like many other religious fanatics.

  • Great chat guys, good info thanks again Peter and Michael get another one up soon!

I really found it funny when Michael says "zeitgeist 4" hehe i guess his age is showing ;)

stay safe, get educated, get evolved.

  • great interview!

man, i love listening to (or viewing) videos on this channel instead of watching television

  • I finally got my husband to watch part 1 of the 2011 movie. I will be excited to see what he thinks. I am so on board with TZM because my scientific mind sees the total rationale of what you are saying on so many levels. I will try to help write or whatever you need me to do. I joined the Sacramento Davis group.

  • @Sparky4Peace

I think you should rethink, this group want a world with one language, one culture, no religion, and a computer program running everything. Enviroment is only half the story as to why people act as they do, yet for Zeitgiest we are all robots that simply respond to our enviroment, therefore should the enviroment be seen by the movement as fine, you'll be seen to have the problem- and so be "treated".

To quote J.F "People should be indoctrinated into this system" The arrogance!

  • @Sparky4Peace cont...

Just because this system stinks, doesnt mean any other oppinion is fine, The venus project will not be so great as you think, and for many reasons- if it is even achievable in the first place, the men in black uniforms will be out at first to impose some order, then the real piggy will stand up and you'll just wake up in a world far worse than this one. Science is not our saviour infact it is probably going to condem us all, if not kept in check.

  • @099749 It seems you're a little confuddled on just what 'science' is bud... lol

  • @xPEACHxEATERx

I have watched a lot of the zeitgiest movemnet propganda. Science is very oppionionated. Oh you think it's a "truth". Science is just a tool in many senses, this movement has nothing that is going to prevent the same elitists in charge today, taking it over- go fight for them mug, they aint giving up power.

  • @099749 I don't think u understand what ZM really is and the elegance and simplicity this non violent "system" stand for. What would those "elitists" incentive to make such a move in a society where u have all u need anytime, nothing worth stealing coz u can't sell it and so forth? Those "elitists" is just people with a sickness or moral flaws and they will be healed and helped to a better understanding in any such case.

  • @kaxitaksi

There will always be things that are in short supply, and what ever that is people will seek and trade for in some way, your living in a fantasy if you think that is not the case- your answer is "Why would they?" your really dense.

Seriously reccomend you read Animal Farm by G.Orwell, "All enviorment robots are equal by some are more equal then others" See it now.

What if they dont wanna be healed? Gonna force them fascist? No law in a zeitgiest, no prisons.

  • @099749 Few other organizations attribute higher importance to material scarcity than TZM. In contrast to many other philosophies, this circumstance if embedded in the approach right from the beginning. We accept it on every level and try to work with it the best we can.

Compare that to the (state and also anarcho) capitalist "approach" to watch people die in a big overshoot and dieoff like situation and just call it "tough luck, this is price discovery, market never fails".

  • @099749 ANY social system have acceptable forms of behavior that it's participants have to agree upon. TZM and Venus Project is no different. If a person deviates from those accepted norms either because of mental illness or deliberate intention then it's the responsibility trained professionals in that system to repair that person either through persuasion or therapy. Unless that person does not want to participate in the social system in which case he/she is free to leave.

  • @099749 Helping others will be done just because everyone will benefit from that people in society is healthy and at ease. Thru out our history there has always been people who can't adjust or comprehend new ideas, but that does not really matter. ZM is inevitable if we are as smart as we think we are. This has also shown thru history, we will always argue about everything from a emotional pow but evolution never takes that into concideration. We just evolve and If not, we will perish.

  • @kaxitaksi

No Zm is definately not enevitable. Not the same thing at all evolution could very well be hampered in a Venus project city, we afterall adapt to our surroundings.

  • @099749 "we afterall adapt to our surroundings" Exactly. Thats why it's inevitable.. or we die..

  • @kaxitaksi

You miss understood me a one size fits all solution firstly is not going to function, lumping the whole of humanity in the same system, never does. and they will evolve in that sigular enviroment which will limit human potencial.

  • @099749 I understood it perfectly well, It seems you can't get this but do not be alarmed, there's many that can't yet :) This will actually enhance human potential not limit it. Like a wise man once said: First they ridicul it, then they battle it and after that it becomes self evident, or sumtin like that. This is not a "game", not about emotional opinions. That won't work as we can see in society today. It's inevitable because it's the only intelligent direction left to take.

  • @kaxitaksi

Your quoting Ghandi "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you then you win" See when they stop laughing, they tell other people the jokes they thought up. Nothing changes the powers that be are as sordid as ever.

Maybe you would like to stop dreaming about a wonderful future and actually put your feet on the ground, sad thing about these little dream societies the closer they get the more the reality of it kicks in, and the less dreamy they are.

  • @099749 I have my feet more grounded than u can ever imagine, thats why I see ZM as the most intelligent way to our future someone has ever proposed so far. It's a great quote works all the time, will this time also :)) People was killed when they said earth was not flat, when windshield wipers was invented they laughed their ass off and said it was easier to remove the windom LOL Same over and over thru history. People never change, they just can't make necessary adjustment easy..

  • @099749 There is still grown up people in our world who believes in invisible friends in heaven and other fairytails. It will not be easy be it's all so inevitable you can't see it. 10-4

  • @kaxitaksi

Well if you believe in scripture then VP will never happen, you come from a time very differnt from the past, God has been squashed out by the people in charge, and on purpose, you have no idea just how supressed humanity is today.

  • @kaxitaksi

and no any system that expects all of mankind to live realtivly the same way, will limit us, in ways you do not even know about- What is human potencial? Just seem like a bunch of lazy dreamers that want machines to do it all, work has a value to it. If people are not prepared to get off their arse, why should others that are be restricted to the same life- people that get things easy never apreciate them. End up with a world where no one really values anything or anyone.modernism

  • @099749 People will probably live just as they do today just more free and with more possibilities not limitations. They will do just what they cose to do, not be slaves to a system anymore. If they want to go fishing they do that. If they want to repair and old car or study, fine. If they would want to contribute to society in some way thats just ok and great. Maybe I'm more of a positive person than you coz I fail to see the "darkness" is ZM that u do. Freedom is light not darkness, my friend.

  • @099749 I don´t know if the venus project can or should be implemented, but I know that all you are today is because of science. Especially if you live in america and europe but all the others are catching up to us. They life longer and prosper because of hygienics, clean water and energy. Without science you would be hunter gatherer. Why do so many people believe science to be a bad thing. I suppose you read "A demon hunted world. Science as a candle in the dark" written by Carl Sagan.

  • @pcuimac

No I see monsanto playing with things and arrogantly risking lots, I see the CIA scientists developing all kinds of weapons, other groups using science to dum down the population and the rest. Science has it benefits I do not deny that, but the risks are far greater than most people seem to realise.

  • @099749 "No I see monsanto playing with things and arrogantly risking lots"

Because they need to satisfy their share holders.

"I see the CIA scientists developing all kinds of weapons"

For what purpose? To kill massive amounts of people? To immobilise people? What happens next after their dead? Who's going to clean up the dead rotting corpses?

"using science to dum down the population"

Which will mess everything up with idiots running around everywhere. How will that help the "elite"?

  • @technatezin

"Because they need to satisfy their share holders." No to own all plant life.

"Which will mess everything up with idiots running around everywhere. How will that help the "elite"?" They think stupid people are easier to control and use. Not will do, they already are.

  • @099749 "No to own all plant life."

Because they are a profit earning company that needs to OWN things before they can SELL things. Without the concept of ownership, selling things (including plant life) would be impossible therefore share holders with a monetary stake in the company will also be impossible

"They think stupid people are easier to control and use. Not will do, they already are."

Stupid people will then reproduce like wild animals without reason or control. How will that help?

  • @technatezin

It helps them. And no not for profit for power, if owned you can do what you want with it..

  • At 26 minutes in, there was a question about the Old Testament concept of "Jubilee." That is the tradition of cancelling all debts every 7 years. Slaves were released, etc.

  • Thanks for uploading! Missed it live.

  • enoyed

  • Thanks for the post! Very interesting

  • Put Sub. in spanish! please.

  • Refresh button. Liberty. and then we can work from there. Alex Jones is energizing our nation. YOU ARE BORING ME! I do support TVP and SCIENCE however we need a refresh of ideals (resetting our lack-there-of). People need to be motivated to educate themselves and there is nothing more motivational than fear of REALITY. Team up with Alex Jones please on education. And let the doers do what doers do. Your plan for moving forward just a Solution to human problems. Let Alex Jones Refresh please.

  • @thejoolien alex jones ignoralntly believes tzm to be against freedom

  • @thejoolien I think Alex Jones is a great motivator - but hes focused on the USA. TZM is more a global thing I think, although naturally the USA being the only superpower, TZM does pay attention to the USA also...but not exclusively. I like Alex Jones as well, even though he gets a bit TOO worked up at times hahaha. All actions in the name of true freedom are welcomed.

  • @HeisW140 i think alex jones is a nut case

  • @ronmorris88 Hahaha maybe he is... but in a world basing our survival on endless debt,non-renewable, environmentally destructive resources and nuclear power, nuts isnt as nuts as it once was.

  • So many more people need to pay more attention.....
