I'd have to say that the first Highlander and Endgame were tied for first in my list, The Quickening and The Final Dimension tie for second to last, and The Source is absolute dead last as for storyline. The execution for The Source could have done way better than that.
I agree but for the way the story was protrayed Conner knew he could not beat the final fight so he had duncan do it ....and sooner or later they would have fought any way as the last two highlanders

Kurgan was my favourite, behind MacLeod... The written version is a bit better, I think

I guess the whole thing with Duncan should best be viewed as an "alternate reality", not the same narrative universe as the original film.
