Good to see you around again. This amazing arrangement really does it for me...reminds me of "the days" haha....being in middle school and discovering hip hop, jazz, and Street Fighter. It was thanks to you guys that I found myself in life, surrounded by good music and an abundance of creative energy. Much love.
I dig this. Definitely sounds like a fitting epilogue to your Jazzy NYC journey. Can't help but respect it. I still want to take a crack at this song, if for nothing else, to do what you and the other YouTube muscians have done for me: Inspire and to give the chance to hear it like I do. All in all, this is dope. Can't wait for the next endeavor.
Its got a pleasant feel to it. Short but sweet. I still prefer Jazzy NYC Harlem's Nocturne remix over this though. That was one of your better tracks for sure.
Hey Native remember when I said Jazzy NYC is my favorite track by you. It's because I live in NY, particularly in Harlem lol. This is a beautiful picture of 125th. I love it. I like the vibe on this one, but the original is perfect. It was gritty and chill, it really captured the essence of New York. This is good though. Keep it up man.
I agree. The original is still the best. Okugawa was beast mode with it. Cop sirens, a James Brown Sample, saxophones. He really put in work when he made that track. Also, respect to Harlem in particular and NY in general. That's the heart of a lot of modern black culture. Hip hop, the Apollo, the Harlem Renaissance etc. You do us proud over in that area. Harlem is a beautiful part of our history. Thank you for giving spins to my beats. Peace to you and yours.
@TheNativeDialect Most def man. I was talking about your crimson fury rendition though lol, but yeah Okugawa definitely put a lot of imagination and time into the track. And yeah Harlem is a great place. One day, I plan to do an ode to Harlem. Keep spinning the beats and I'll keep listening. Stay tranquil man. Peace.
I Love This Song Way Too Much To See It Fade Away. I Will Continue Where You Left Off. Great Work As Always And It's Nice To See You're Uploading Again. Stay Blessed.
It is cool that you want to carry that torch. Every up and coming Youtube VG musician cuts their teeth on this track (myself included). When I said this is a farewell to this song, I meant for myself. I'm not seddity. I could never tell everyone else to forget about this song. So more power to those who want to take it a step further. As for me...on to the next one. God bless and thank you for listening. I appreciate it.
Its so beautiful, deserves a final farewell to one of the best joints ever!
