  • why church people like 2 say hallelujah to every? things that are not even of God..."Bring your Assss to church" "Hallelujah!!!' Ridiculous

  • Metaphor or not when some are short on content their say almost anything for a rise

as for attention that's about all you can get, but a real prompting or move of the Spirit Noway

This is the type of works that will be burnt by fire when our works are tried. and as for the so called Holiness that was quoted UNBELIEVABLE there is such a thing; its a standard that we all have to live by, from the pulpit to the pew. the word speaks of a great falling away this is why we try the spirit by the Spirit

  • no matter what i believe this preacher is WRONG

  • ARE U SERIOUS!!!! UMMMMMM NOOOOOOOOOOOO HELL NO....AND MY SUB TOPIC IS

"HELL TO THE NO" HE MEANT IT JUST HOW HE SAID IT....

  • I agree, dnt sound good at all.

  • He sounded so comfortable saying it though lol...don't get mad though, even his preaching riff was off hahaha!

  • How do you know he wasn't talking about a donkey though? LMBO.

  • As a Pastor, profanity should never be used to draw anyone......."And if I be lifted up, I (Jesus) will draw all men!!"

  • I can't stop laughing---PTL

  • FAIL!!!!

  • HE DID GO FAR ENOUGH

    FAR AS I"M CONCERNED HAHAHAHA

SOME OF YALL MUTHA FUCKAZ NEED TO BE CUSSED OUT.

  • Completely Inappropriate for the pulpit but it was hilarious.

  • Skip to 4:35 if you came just for the title. Your welcome.

  • @BRAVOADD thx

  • Bring dem big booty hoes to church!!!!!!

  • I UNDERSTAND HIS METHAPHOR but the very fact that he knew it was out of order for saying hold on to your seats... he should of never used this during a service...

  • I LOVED THE MESSAGE , POINT BLANK!......everyone knows what the pastor is trying to say so theres really no need to try and make his message look bad

#IF YOU REALLY DIDNT LIKE IT , STOP COMMENTING!!!!

  • The fact that he tried to justify what he said, states that he knows he was out of order.

  • overall i think he preached a good message, its just that i think he took 'ass' out of context for his subtitle, because i know he is not saying, 'bring your donkey to church', he is obviously relating to a person's behind. But like i said good message.

  • i know it's a metaphor but it doesn't seem to represent God well.

  • If he didn't feel guilty why does he feel he has to defend his comment(5:50-6:22)! Sad, sad...smh

  • Yes, bring your ass to church so HIS ass can get rich off of the tithing. You don't have to go to church to be a good Christian or follower of Christ. A lot of backstabbing crap goes on in the church. You can help others, volunteer and read your bible. You really don't need to bring your ASS to church.

  • 1Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. It does not reflect Holiness, and gives a sinner a reason to further avoid the house of faith. Matthew 7:13-14 talks about straight is the gate and narrow is the way. This is to broad to be used as "God's Representation" in the church. I respectfully disagree with such an ungodly and unholy subtopic of a sermon.

  • I like when he says "Ass"

  • WHAT?!?!?!?!

  • I'm not mad at the use of the word when used in context, the same context it was used in scripture. He used it to be provocative and prove a point. However, when the point gets lost in controversy then it was obviously misused. From the 11 minutes I was able to see he had to stretch the idea very far to get it across. No judgement on the man, other sermons may be clearer and more to the word, but this one was not good.

  • I was going to go to church for the first time this Sunday in a long time, but after seeing this I've decided to skip church and read my physics book instead.

  • Comment removed

  • Those who think it was sin to use this word in his title, it's equally sinful to repeat it and retype it. Get a grip saints.

  • lighten up people... are your ears too sanctified to hear the word ass I really don't think so. It has been my experience that people who are so "shocked" are usually the biggest troublemakers in a church and usually totally full of self righteous fraudulence... Dennis J

  • Are as foolishness to those who don't know. We can preach holiness and the blood all we want- but if they don't know what the blood or holiness is, how can they get it? We need to draw them then teach them.

  • @bigrichwill Teach by example....smh

  • @bigrichwill also.......its the holy ghost that draws not us

  • @bigrichwill AMEN!!!

  • @bigrichwill the Holy Spirit draws people...you can only be a witness...

  • @empact...it got your attention...and once again, the things of God

  • 5:01-5:05 Woah Jesus is right. I think saying "Bring your donkey to church" would've been good too. I wonder how many people told their neighbor to bring their "bring their ass to church" and meant the other ass.

  • We all know what he meant. However he should not have used it like that, which is the reason why he started explaining afterward. (talking bout some of the people still curse at home) it was just improper thats all..It was an attention getter that was not necessary. Just bring the word pastors and stop trying to get attention. Christ is the only one that needs our undevided attention.

  • Then he turned around and said "you act like you've never cursed". Its OUT OF ORDER! He knows that word has double meaing these days and he knew what he was doing when he came up with that subject. Only cats who CAN'T PREACH have to come up with retarded crap like this to get attention....He would have been SAT DOWN at my church.....for real!

  • wow

  • HE DID NOT TAKE THE DONKEY INTO THE TEMPLE. IT WAS USED TO FULLFIL SCRIPTURE THAT HE WOULD RIDE INTO THE CITY ON AN ASS. HE PEVERTED THE TEXT!! WATCH OUT FOR THESE FALSE TEACHERS

  • Let's read the whole scripture of Ephesians 4:29

Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it. (Ephesians 4:29 AMP)

  • God never gets the glory out of His word, when it is taking out of context

  • How could this man stand up in the church and say "Bring ur Ass"! Sad!!!!!!

  • Ummm a little too much. I undertsand the scripture refers to the animal as an ass, but if you are not reading the scripture than you know good and well just using the word ass itself is not appropriate.

  • What happen to come out from among them and separate yourself. This has gone too far. I would have immediately severed my membership and never came back. This is bull crap

  • Sad, but true.

  • It wasn't used to mean your literal behind. It was used as a metaphor to describe what keeps people from church; stubbornness, not feeling you are worthy enough, hang ups, set backs, issues. In essence, bring it all to Jesus, the only one who has the answer.

  • @bigrichwill I don't give a s@*$t how literal he was trying to be, He went too far

  • @bigrichwill What you are saying is fine. I you was preaching would you use that word in a TITLE MESSAGE. Now I know it's in the bible but he wasn't read the Bible, when he said that and he wasn't talking about a donkey when he read the title message.

  • He was using it as a metaphor for your stubbornness, your reasons that keep you from church and the assembling of the saints, you hang ups and your imperfections, nor your literal behind. It's deeper than surface level.

  • @bigrichwill this is why society has little children cussing adults out, and no respect for the House of the Lord anymore

  • @bigrichwill yessuh! Teach them please....and further more why would someone post that title on a video that they didn't/don't fully understand?!!!! The bible speaks about "stirring up strife".

  • @gnarleyharley, it was not used as profanity.

  • @bigrichwill But it was used to stir up controversy and emotion and its a distraction from the Word of God.

  • While Jesus walked in a flesh body He did teach in easy-to-comprehend parables, but he was also sinless and Holy the whole time he ministered. God's will should be my will, and if God's will is that I am glib and carnal-minded in His house then He has contradicted His word--and that is not possible. Be. Ye. Separate.

If you want to reach the world in a Holy way but still reach a dying world, pray and ask God to show you how; that way you will be under His direction, not your own.

  • @LoveTeeC well said, amen

  • We have to speak the language that they know. Jesus used parables that farmers and fishermen knew. If you REALLY read your bible, Jesus used an ass for His glory. Thank yall so much. Keep the comments coming. God bless all yall.

  • @bigrichwill This guy took the word ass out of context. In the Bible, it describes a donkey, in his sermon, it describes someones backside. Come on now!!

  • @bigrichwill OK....they know curse words. They also know we should be different in some type of way. Cursing and relating to foul language is not an effective way to give the gospel. How can you be a light to the world and use language that even an unsaved 5 year old knows is wrong. Is that not a stumbling block? Jesus rode a donkey, didn't say a curse word. I doubt the word donkey in Greek or Aramaic was a curse word or used in a way that would be divisive.

  • @bigrichwill Your a compromiser!!!!!!!!!!! thats all! God doesn't need our help to get them in the church, the blood is good all by its self, and Jesus is all powerful all by Himself. next time you try to bring others to salvation, show them that you are truly separated.

P.S. Don't justify yourself by claiming that other people curse, you knew you were wrong and tried to right it.

  • I must say, I appreciate all of the comments. However, we must remember that we are preaching to the lost and unsaved. The word says Jesus became all things to all people that some might be saved (1 Cor. 9-22). He spoke so that is was relevant to those He was saving, not to those who already are. The things of God are of foolishness to those who don't understand. That's why a good portion of people leave the church because we try to be so deep and pious that we forget the messes we came from.

  • @bigrichwill Say what you want, but to use profanity in a sermon is just wrong...

  • @gnarlyharley71

It is not only wrong, it is disrespectful to the elders in church. He could have said bring your body or self to church. Some people just don't get it.

  • @gnarlyharley71 i agree perception is everything...he coulda jus said donkey like he said after he said that...smh. holiness is still right!

  • @gnarlyharley71 LOL! I love the way stuffy traditional people want to criticize, the more radicle way of preaching. Look at it this way, YOUR way of doing things is done. Just look at how crazy this world has gotten. These crazy hardheaded people out there are NOT going to be reached the way you and I were reached. THAT is just plain reality. Sorry if it rubs you the wrong way, but we need to pray for these preachers, don't judge them.

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 I don't consider myself as "stuffy". "My" way of doing things, is not "My" way. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:21, "For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." There is nothing new under the sun. Souls are brought to Christ today, just as they were 100 years ago, or 1500 years ago. People have been hard headed since the beginning of time. It is not new to this era.

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 ...and as far as rubbing me the wrong way, I'm not the one he has to worry about. He shouldn't stoop to the level of gutter talk, to make a point about the Holy Sovereign God of the Universe! God is perfect, and worthy of much more than profanity. As far as judging this preacher, his own words judge him. They are on here for everyone to read, as a witness to his character. We should want to raise the mark, not lower it.

  • @gnarlyharley71 As I read your coment you pretty much prove my point. It is sad when creativity is hindered by so called holiness. Plus, what it comes down to is EVERYBODY who disagrees with how this guy is preaching, are not used to change. They are stuck in tradition, or better yet, They are playing it close to the vest because they are fearful. Afraid of God's wrath. But the bible is FULL of stories of God using individuals to do things outside of conventional wisdom. Cont--->

  • @gnarlyharley71 Is this sermon UNORTHODOX? Hell yes! LOL!!!! There is no question about that. BUT it is necessary. Because I gaurantee you, SOMEONE out there is going to be drawn to Christ. Whereas they would probably snore loudly through any other kind of sermon. And sadly, we (UNINTENTIONALLY) put GOD in a cute, neet little box, and GOD is just too BIG for that. And as I type this, it occurrs to me that thses doubtful and debatable subjects are why Jesus had to go to the cross.

  • @bigrichwill I understand what you are saying. However i doubt it if Jesus became a curser, a drunkard, a cheater, a liar, a thief, and a whoremonger to win souls. Yes we are sinners saved by grace, and we no longer live in sin. But we do not have to go back to our sin in front of new converts or the currently unsaved in order to prove that we have not always been saved.

  • "Bring your ass to church" makes perfect sense. We all have asses. Just try going to church without bringing your ass---it's not easy.

  • @goldfinger007able, first off it's would have or would've..use proper words. Secondly, are you really that deep that you can't see the message in this? God used an ass to achieve His plan and purpose.

  • @bigrichwill it's not about using proper grammer, it's about saving of souls, to help keep them out of the 'DEEP' . The use of the ass was used for the Lord's mobility to for-fill a prophecy. It was not meant to used in some carnel minded preacher limited vocabulary for a Sunday morning church service.

  • @goldfinger007able Ephesian 4:29. Others may use his choice of words as well, not sure if God can get the glory out of using that type of language.

  • i would of got up with my family and left that worldly mess to himself, God is going to pull this type of stuff down to the ground, to the deepest part of Sheol and set His sheep free of unholy doctrine.

  • AWESOME word Pastor Jerry : ) . That particular message you preached made my mom start going to church again ! AMEN .

  • So what's the matter with saying "bring your ass to church"? The bible says Jesus tied his ass to a tree and walked into Jerusalem. Now THAT'S a miracle.

  • @sweetsweatyfeet now this comment has just killed me!!!! lmbo
