This is a sweeping generalization, but she is a tax lawyer and lawyers generally will do whatever it takes to "win". Whether it's an opinion or a decision that they're seeking, lawyers don't act to benefit their community; rather themselves.

I used to live in Albert Lea MN & I believe that's where Franken's father had a business. I love that city & it's a great State. Franken is fairly liberal & not to my taste but Bachmann just seems nutty to me. I'm a Conservative that hates Glen Beck, Bachmann, Palin & the ilk. Who is the commanding officer? As a U.S. Senator if these camps do indeed exist you have the power to call for an official investigation. You can also draw up a Bill to defund them and close them.

She's something special. From my lifetime, I can't recall ever seeing/hearing a politician that was as real as is she. Only in recorded history have I seen them. Her supporters in Minnesota are very excited because in these dark days in which hope seems so faint, she, with her straight forward, no non sense talk, is providing a much needed ray of hope. In more ways than one, states have already in effect started fighting back. At some point in time, govt definitely tried to expand and abuse its powers and now the real debate begins on just how far the Feds can go. More importantly we the people will check the corruption at the ballot box.
