  • Thanks, you can speed things up by frying the beef mince if you like.

  • So can you make the mixture boil at a higher temperature if you don't have the 2 hours for the simmering?

  • The only way to speed it up is to fry the beef and THEN add the seasonings without much water.

    Thanks for the question!

  • I just watched the video again, and one question that popped into my mind was: Why is it called Chili Dogs, when chili isn't included in the recipe?

  • I guess I should have added some Chili Powder to this.

I think it would be better with it, thanks for the suggestion!

  • The Sloppy Joe recipe reminded me a bit of Cincinatti Chili. Lookin' good, as always! I also like some jalapeno slices on my CD. Now I'm gonna check out that Chicken Paprika recipe I see over there in your sidebar. Hope you're fine, dude.

  • Jalapeno sounds very good!

  • That is the best comment that I have ever gotten, thank you!

  • I agree with you. He is one of the best cooks I have ever seen. And his videos are easy to follow. I also like the way he list the ingredients in the "info" section.

I just wonder if he has ever considered adopting a 70 year old kid?

  • Looks great. Thats pretty much how I like My dogs !! I use dill relish (not sweet relish) ( i dont know what kind You used)

  • I like the sweet relish, I need something to sweeten up my personality.

  • i like mustard, chili, cheese, onions and i put pepperonchinis on mine. i break them open and drizzle the pepperonchini juice on top. it is sooooo good.

I gotta stop watching these vids at night. Now it's bedtime and I'm craving chili dogs.

  • Thanks Ray!

  • hey mike. luved the recipe for chili dogs. the premise of this recipe looks sorta like a recipe for homemade baked beans. have you ever made them?

  • Thanks!

Baked Beans? Gosh yes, doesn't everybody make baked beans?

Thanks for favoriting the video too!

  • Cool , imagine if u combine hotdog and a humburger , ground some hotdogs and form it a shape of a patty and grill the hot dog patty and the hamburger patty and put it ontop of each other with stuff

  • What a GREAT idea!

  • How do u stand giving us ur recipes? u must kill us all! lol

  • I am all in it for the fame and your comments Chris!

  • Wow! I never made sloppy joes that way, but it looks really yummy! I will try it because the boys love chili dogs. Thanks so much because I have all the ingredients to make them today, yay!

  • Thanks Regie!

I am heating up the place today.... making a pie.

If it turns out good, it will be a video.

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie; I love that and have been craving it.

I am in the process right now, before it gets too hot outside, the temp outside affects the A/C.

  • I think your kids would eat them up!

  • Teen or no teen, set me up with 4-5 of those puppies. I like ur no fry ground beef technique. Never seen that, before. I'll try.

  • No matter how old I get, I will always love a chili dog.

Yes it is just a boil and a no fry thing, I have to be different sometimes; it makes the sloppy joes very smooth and not chunky.

  • Hi Michael,

I was watched most of your cooking videos and I think that youre brilliant cook. I know that you have much offer for cooperation, but i must try it :) Im profi cook form czech republic, and I want to know what is your opinion about central europian cuisine. If you like some of my clasical czech recieps, you can try it as video of course. I hope that you will thinking about this offer. It would be realy very pleasant to me :).

  • Thank you very much!

Please give me 3 things that I can pick from to make from your area.

I do not know much about central European cooking.

I hope to hear from you.

  • I like to have it every now and then too!

  • I bet that tasted much better than my "Breakfast chili cheese dogs"...hahaha!!

  • Um, I don't know, I thought your breakfast dogs looked pretty damn good.

I love the way you forked those eggs, I would have left the beer out though. LOL

  • hahaha! The beer in the eggs was a disgusting addition...I wouldn't recommend it...lol

I have never liked Guinness; just too deep of a flavor.
