I didn't really watch ER and one day I randomly put it on and this scene was on...and I was HOOKED....but then nothing kept on happening b/n Ray/Neela and I stopped watching...

The writers really had somehting with this couple...they were quite popular and the writers didn't use it to their advantage...and they found the stupidest way to get Ray out...couldn't they have found anythign etter than amputating his legs??

I'll be back when there is a Ray/Neela episode next season...hopefully!

He lost his legs in the season 13 finale. Got hit by a truck and they had to be amputated. :/ As for him and Neela they never actually got together. They were really close to finally starting something but then he had his accident and after that he went home to live with him mom is New Orleans.
