bobby hull is arrogant. his brother dennis is a class act. i once asked bobby to autograph dennis' book (the 3rd best hull). he refused because he said that the book was all about hiim and not about Dennis. Last time i recall, Dennis was pretty good in his own right. Maybe not as hall of fame like numbers like bobby, but much more dynamic personality and ambassador for the sport....
Hockey is a rough sport, and I love its roughness, when legal, but to listen to the sermon at the start of this video, one would think that the sport is first and foremost about fighting. BS!! It is about skating, passing, speed and defense and legal checking and great goal-tending. The sport is MUCH BETTER now at the pro level because they finally are enforcing the rule about interference. Now more than ever the team that outskates it foe will win ... in past playoffs, that was often not true

As a former hockey player, I can vouch for how tough it is... but having also played rugby, you'd get an argument from "footballers" that their game is tougher. Hockey players are legandary for their toughness, though. Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith took a slapshot in the mouth in the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs, lost seven teeth, but didn't miss any games in his team's run to the title. Just another day at the office!
