Ironically I got this track on an unlabeled compilation. It took me 3 listens to figure it out. The nig cue was ironically not the vocals, it was the guitar! Love it!
I've heard this in quite a few clothing stores ... loved the European sound of it & had to find out who it was. Shame on me for not finding out sooner that it's from this fine, very underrated group.
This is the only cocteau single I dont own. I found it used a couple of times. But it just wasnt worth paying $30 for songs that I already own in other formats.
Ah yes - the dilemma of a record collector :) I was lucky that I bought it at the time at a regular price in a store. But I know what you mean. I have a perfect vinyl copy of Adventures In Modern Recording by The Buggles. The cd version sells for 90 - 150 dollars and I can't bring myself to pay that kind of money for songs I already own.
They make a cute song beautiful! so glad I found this, thank you for posting it.On my faves list now

Funny Liz is willing to sing this song and turn it into something wonderful as usual. Simply amazing!

You know this song is magical when it can put an Atheist in a Christmas spirit.

@a70skid I don't think frosty the snowman or the christmas spirit has any necessary connection to religion. This seems like a pretty secular song.

@a70skid What the heck does Frosty the Snowman have to do with God? Lol.
