All of this is strange to me, because I have always hated Coke from when I first tasted it as a kid. So, fortunately, I will never get addicted to it.
They failed to mention that in the 1800s Coca-Colas two key ingredients were cocaine & caffeine. The Cocaine was derived from the Coca leaf and the Caffeine from the Kola nut, hence the name. And that it once contained 9mg of cocaine per glass. To this day Coke claims to use a cocaine free Coca leaf extract but the U.S still has a manufacturing plant authorised by the Federal Government to import and process the Coca plant. How else do you think they produce its unique flavour...and addiction.
The man who bought the company was a hardedged man and investor named ERNEST Woodruff who used his bank called Trust Company. Robert worked for White truck company, until his father gave him the job. read the secret formula by Frederick Allen.
Do you happen to have anything relating to Coca-Cola's 100th anniversary in 1986? That year also witnessed the Minute Maid brand entering the soft-drink realm, initially in Orange and Lemon-Lime flavors.
Experimenting with ingredients? THATS A GREAT IDEA!! NUKA COLA IM GONNA BE THE FIRST TO MAKE YOU!!!!!! wait whats so great about a radiated soft drink anyway. hmm. Thinking of a name. HAPPY COLA HERE I COME BABEH!!!!!
@MrPresidentFox there was a time when coca leafs were used as a ingredient in coca-cola but there was only enough in the drink to give people a light buzz. and coca leafs were not illegal back then. and it didn't kick off; if you drank coke back then, you would become a crack head.
i have enjoyed Coke since the late fities and early Sixties. It's still "The Real Thing"!125 years later it's true today. Thanks for sharing this!Brainy at BMSS

@MrPresidentFox Actuall, pause at 0:57, and read the board behind the bucket. Coca is mentioned in it, which is the plant cocaine comes from.
