I don't really get it. Why are people calling this the "4G" iPhone? AT&T doesn't have 4G service yet. It'll most likely be called something else. Like 3G XL or something cool like that. iPhone 2G = Edge. iPhone 3G = UMTS. 3G S = UMTS upgraded. 4G in wireless terms = LTE (long-term evolution) which AT&T does NOT have yet. This is an incorrect name and may be cause confusion, as this is another new iPhone (apparently) that runs on the 3G UMTS network. Not the 4G LTE that AT&T does not have yet.
